For admission to BA LLB (Hons), TNNLU accepts CLAT score. So, apart from the course fee, candidates need to submit the CLAT registration fee aswell. The BA LLB (Hons) fees are as follows:

Apirants who appeared for the CLAT 2025 Exam should have a clear idea about a good CLAT score. CLAT is a very competitive exam and candidates need to score high to clear the cutoff. Yes, Tamil Nadu National Law University does offers BA LLB (H) at undergraduate level lasting for five years. The law programme is approved by Bar Council of India  (BCI). The undergraduate programme was commenced in 2012 and is offered in a regular mode. The BA LLB is a regular honors degree offered as a rigorous residential programme.

TNNLU BA LLB (Hons) admission is based on merit, subject to rules of reservation, through the Common Law Admission Test. Additionally, candidates must go through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) counseling process conducted by CNLU for final seat allotment.

TNNLU placement is a four-step process, which are as follows:

1. The placement cell arranges pre-placement discussions between candidates and recruiters.
2. The recruiters conduct a pre-interview screening round. If any recruiter does not conduct pre-interview screening then placement cell will forward the CVs of interested candidates.
3. After the pre-interview screening, the list of shortlisted candidates will be announced by the recruiters
4. Recruiters will declare a final list of selected candidates. Candidates need to inform the placement cell regarding their choice (acceptance/ decline).

TNNLU which is one of the best institutes for law admissions has released its Round 1 seat allotment results recently. It accepts CLAT scores to offer courses such LLB for various specialisations. Considering the TNNLU cut off 2025 for the Round 1 seat allotment results, the cutoff for BA LLB (Hons) and B.Com LLB (Hons) stood at 1278 and 1424, respectively, for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the Home State quota, the General category cutoff for above mentioned courses stood at 2250 and 3370. For admission to one-year LLM or five-year LLB at TNNLU Tiruchirappalli, the CLAT test was conducted in December last year. Aspirants of TNNLU Tiruchirappalli are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. The exam took place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2026 test centres in 22 states and UTs. 

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released the CLAT 2026 result for admission to five-year integrated law and one-year LLM courses. 

CLAT result contains details like the candidate's overall and sectional scores, and merit rank. Those who will qualify CLAT by meeting the required minimum cutoff as per the merit list are called for the counselling process for seat allotment. 

Note that for admission to the 5-year LLB or LLM courses, the candidate will have to meet the CLAT cut-off in their respective category. The CLAT merit rank list will be shared at the time of admission and seat allotments. Candidates ranked higher in CLAT  merit list will be given preference during the seat allotment process.

The CLAT 2026 registration process is completely online. Candidates can fill out the application form through the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Here are the steps for the online registration process:

• Visit the official CLAT website: The registration link will be available on the Consortium's official website
• Create a new account: Provide your personal details like email, phone number, and password.
• Fill out the application form: Enter academic details, personal details, and other necessary information.
• Upload documents: Scanned copies of your photo, signature, and required documents should be uploaded.
• Pay the registration fee: The application fee can be paid online via credit/debit card or net banking.

Once the registration was complete, the candidate received a confirmation email or message. Make sure to check all the details before submitting the form to avoid any errors.
