Know Techno Main Salt Lake in one go.
Placements: 70 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 19 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Also the placement cell of our college is very good. It also helps students in getting internships and it also organises hackathons for the overall development of students by which we can get so much exposure.
Infrastructure: Not a very big campus or expectations but overall it's okay. The library is not very big but it has many books available (foreign writers and Indian writers as well). The quality of facilities we get is very good. There is a very good canteen it is very neat and clean and it has every kind of food available.
Faculty: Faculty are not up to date. They don't know basic DSAs. They say that it is not in our course so we won't teach you this. The course curriculum is a little bit relevant. The paper usually comes from MAKAUT and the difficulty level is very unpredictable in the end semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only good option I was getting and this course can definitely make you good at ethical hacking and would also help you to make startups.

Decent academics, good facilities, and strong opportunities.
Placements: For Techno, around 60–70 percent of students are placed, with higher placement rates in CSE and IT branches. The highest package ranged between 20–29 LPA, while the lowest package was around 6–7 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. Around 40–50 percent of students secured internships, mainly through external applications. The major roles offered are software developer, system engineer, and IT engineer.
Infrastructure: All departments have Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a central library. The hostels provide basic accommodation with mess facilities. The food quality is average, while the canteen is comparatively better. Medical support includes first aid facilities and access to a nearby hospital. Sports facilities are available but are basic.
Faculty: The teachers are generally qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant, but industry readiness largely depends on self-learning and project work. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the overall pass percentage is fairly high for regular students.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package ranges from 25 to 29 LPA, and the lowest ranges from 6 to 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T, Tech Mahindra, and Mindtree. Around 70 to 80 percent of students got internships in companies like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, etc. Top roles offered are cyber security analyst, ethical hacker, penetration tester, and security consultant.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in CSE (Cyber Security) are much better than other tier-3 private colleges. The campus is good, and the facilities are much better. The quality of the facilities in the college is awesome and very nice. I love it.
Faculty: The teaching quality is better, and the faculty members are qualified. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult because the department and college are under MAKAUT. However, if anyone completes the syllabus and solves previous year questions (PYQs), it will be easy.

Placements: I think it's good, but 6,40,000 is a very large amount, and yes, because it's a private college, my course is CSE Cyber Security. Many students are placed from my chosen course. The highest package is 1.1 crores according to seniors, and the lower range is between 6 to 10 LPA, I think.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi with a good network, but your mobile network is going to be slow. The labs are good. All important equipment is available in the labs. Classrooms are good, but many classrooms are not equipped with AC. The library condition is good, and all kinds of sports activities are available except for the gym.
Faculty: Teachers are average, not much good. Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified, but the teaching quality is not very good. However, it's okay; at last, you can go to YouTube! Because I am a first-year student, I don't know much, so I think they prepare us for industry qualifications, just like every MAKAUT university does.
Other: This college is better than any other private college present in Kolkata, except HIT.

Overall, the performance of the college is good.
Placements: 92% of students were placed in the course and the highest package was 92 lacs, the lowest was 3 lacs, and the average was 7 lacs. Wipro, TCS and many others are recruiting here. 50–70% of students get internships in TCS, etc. The top roles offered to students are SWE, JSWE, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good, lab teachers are very helpful and kind and library service is also good and provides a good study environment. I don't leave the hostel but I have heard from my friend that the quality of the facilities is average and the food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind, quite knowledgeable and have a good teaching experience of around 14–15 years. Yes, it is relevant because it makes the student industry ready for the future. Semester exams are not so difficult; on average, 90% of students secure good marks in exams. 30% is the pass percentage for the semester.
Other: I chose this course because it provides good coding skills.

Best college in West Bengal.
Placements: Placement facility is amazing, and it also provides internship notifications in WhatsApp groups. I am in my first year. I also applied for 4 internship programmes. My seniors are already doing internships in the best companies like Google and IBM. Seniors also provide guidance on related internships.
Infrastructure: College does not provide a hostel. It's your ability to find the best PG or hostel in Salt Lake Sector V. If you live near this area, then college is best. But transportation services are also good. College is near the Salt Lake Sector V metro station, so don't worry about traveling.
Faculty: The exam level is very tough. Professors are well qualified from the best institutes like Jadavpur, IIT, and the best state-level institute. The external exam is conducted by Makaut University, so there is one rule of Makaut that their paper is unpredictable and they never repeat their pattern.

Computer labs should keep updated devices with no lag, or else everything is almost alright.
Placements: Mostly, the packages offered are 3 LPA - 4 LPA. If you are a good student, you may receive up to 10 LPA-15 LPA on average. The highest package offered in this college is 1 crore per annum from Amazon. 100 percent of students got internships, mostly in TCS, Capgemini, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no particular college hostel. You have to manage by yourself. Wi-Fi connections are stable within all areas of the campus. Classrooms are mostly non-AC. Labs have sufficient supplies for carrying out practical tasks and the lab instructors are strict about the lab work.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative during classes and exam time and they are also experienced. The course curriculum is definitely relevant and it is also affiliated with MAKAUT. Semester exams are mostly dependent on logic-based questions rather than lengthy questions.
Other: Seeing the real-life evolution of the internet and security demands for it I found it a crucial opportunity to claim. I feel that being an engineer you have to learn every sort of subject other than computer so I won't complain a lot. The best private college for fest in Kolkata is conducted.

Dissatisfied with the college campus. It is very small, even smaller than some of the schools.
Placements: My course is new for the college. I am in the 4th batch of this department so there is not much information about the placement scenario or this department. But some of the seniors say that the average placement from this college is about 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are all the facilities in the college, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, and many more, except for a hostel. You will need to find a hostel/PG/flats on your own. Many events related to sports, education, and technology are organized in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in the class. This course is in demand in the IT sector to protect them from cybercrime or any type of harmful hacking. Exams are conducted by the MAKAUT. This course can definitely make a student industry-ready for the upcoming demand for cybersecurity experts.
Other: I got this course through online counselling by MAKAUT after giving the WBJEE exam.
