Enriching experience in terms of active environment and faculty interaction .

Placements: Students placed (2020)-4%. Recruiting companies:- KPMG ( Salary offered -60k), Jannagraha, Centre for policy and research, Urban Management Centre and Bandhu ( Salary offered -25k). Internship:-Niti Aayog, IIT Bombay, Jannagraha, Samagra governance, UNDP, TISS, centre for policy and research etc. Job roles:- policy analyst, consultant, research associate .

Infrastructure: TISS, Mumbai is in the suburb regions of Chembur. The campus is green and provides a refreshing and healthy experience. It has 19 hrs library facilities, sports and gym facilities, double sharing and quadrable sharing rooms, dining hall providing food which is nutritionally recommended by doctors, health centre and accessible cyber cafe.

Faculty: UPG is one of the best course offered by TISS, the faculty members are very qualified and they offer a very friendly and inclusive platform to learn and unlearn things on both personal and professional front. The assignments and field works enhances the understanding of the subjects. The evaluation techniques are quite friendly. Teachers find and ask students about their opinion to evaluate them. They support and manage the diverse student requirements. The course curriculum kind of lacks a job oriented approach, it is more research oriented.

Other: I am a B.Tech graduate having inclination towards social issues. I saw this course as an opportunity to widen my knowledge base and improve my skillset. The course structure can be improved by including more field base and working on project assignments and also I felt, 2 years weren't sufficient to understand all areas covered due to lack of prior knowledge, time and assignment management issues faced by diverse categories of students.

Candidate must have completed graduation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university/ college. Proof of English Language Proficiency is essential only for an applicant who has studied in a university located in a non-English speaking country or whose mode of Instruction during previous Degree/ diploma was not English. Admission Process

Pre-Interview Test & Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the pre-interview test (PIT) and personal interview (PI) based on the score obtained in TISS National Entrance Test (TISS-NET). The pre-interview test consists of a written test conducted before the personal interview. International Students have to take Online International Entrance Test (IET) and shortlisted candidate will be invited for Skype interviews.
