Aspirants of Tripura University must appear for CUET as well as meet CUET scores. The final admission to Tirupati University os based on the counselling rounds which is conducted on the basis of performance of candidates in CUET UG exam. Based on Tripura University cutoff 2023, CUET UG scores for Round 1 seat allotment for Master of Physical Education is 85,  Bachelor of Library and Information Science is 82,  Bachelor of Business Administration is 94.63 and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is 162 for the General category All India candidates. 

Talking about Tripura University, it offers various courses such as B.Tech/B.E., MBA/PGDM, M.A., M.Sc, B.Sc, B.A. and many more. Amongst all the courses, PG has shown most placements for the year 2022. The University has still not released the 2023 placement report. But, the NIRF report 2023 is out. According to the report, a total of 141 PG students were placed during Tripura University placements 2022. The median package offered to PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3 LPA and INR 2.60 LPA, respectively. For PG (3-year) courses, the median package was INR 10 LPA. So, basically we can say that choice of course depends upon the person's interest but looking into placements, PG sector is better option to pursue at Tripura University.

Tripura University has various clubs such as The Environment Club of Tripura University, Quiz Club, and others. The NSS TU unit organised a training programme on the “Motivation of Youth for Inspiring Rural Reconstruction.'' There are various programmes organised by the university for students. There is a fresher's party, awards ceremonies arranged by the university. 

Tripura University offers MD and MS at the PG level for Medical Stream. The final admission to various specialisations of MD and MS are based on NEET PG scores followed by the counselling. The MCC is the conducting body of NEET PG Counselling.
