Best University in Guwahati, Assam.

Placements: There is quite low placement in our university, as a very few company comes for job fair. Hardly 30-40% students gets placed. The average package is 2.3Lpa, The highest is 3Lpa and the lowest is 1.5Lpa. Top recruiting companies are local pharma companies and mostly insurance companies like Bajaj Allianz, Lic India, etc. None of them got internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well maintained, there is digit classroom, well-equipped AC rooms, Campus Wi-Fi and huge library. The hostel food is normal and non-veg is served 2days a week. There is medical, post office, ATM and Sports facilities available inside the campus.

Faculty: There are highly qualified, very knowledgeable and most are from outside my state, IIT professors are also available there for 2-3 classes per week. No it doesn't make students industry relevant, because course is outdated and stusents have low skills. The semesters are easy to pass to moserate.

Other: Yes improvance is needed because of outdated course students not getting placements. The fest, events these are just of expectations, DJ/Singers from bollywood comes for the fest .
