Best University in Guwahati, Assam.

Placements: There is quite low placement in our university, as a very few company comes for job fair. Hardly 30-40% students gets placed. The average package is 2.3Lpa, The highest is 3Lpa and the lowest is 1.5Lpa. Top recruiting companies are local pharma companies and mostly insurance companies like Bajaj Allianz, Lic India, etc. None of them got internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well maintained, there is digit classroom, well-equipped AC rooms, Campus Wi-Fi and huge library. The hostel food is normal and non-veg is served 2days a week. There is medical, post office, ATM and Sports facilities available inside the campus.

Faculty: There are highly qualified, very knowledgeable and most are from outside my state, IIT professors are also available there for 2-3 classes per week. No it doesn't make students industry relevant, because course is outdated and stusents have low skills. The semesters are easy to pass to moserate.

Other: Yes improvance is needed because of outdated course students not getting placements. The fest, events these are just of expectations, DJ/Singers from bollywood comes for the fest .

It is a very good college with every facilities including hygiene and hostel facilities.

Placements: Myself Omprakash, I am a student of Guwahati university. Approximately. 60% students get placement with a very good package of approximately 6 Lacs. The highest package went upto 8 Lacs and minimum was 4 Lacs till now. Placement in BASF INDIA, TATA CHEMICALS and state companies is common.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Clean classrooms, Wi-Fi facilities AC classrooms, hygienic drinking water is there. Library of the university is also very good. It contains a lot and wide range of study materials. Hostel facility is also too good with a minimum feels.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in every aspects. Not only in study but they also promote extra curricular activities for personality development of an individual. The exams may appear a bit difficult but if you focus in the class you can achieve very good points specially the notes of teachers is awesome and in a easy language.

Other: I chose the course because I find it a very interesting subject. Chemistry is present in each field including medical industry. One can achieve a wider knowledge helping in achieving a larger goal. Everything is very good in this university.
