It is a good place to study various courses.

Placements: I have studied my master's in Chemistry from this college, and it gives a wide variety of placements from online educators like Aakash to R&D industries. Since my batch was Covid affected, we were also apprehensive of our future due to less exposure to the lab in our second year. Teachers and management used to encourage us to apply for various companies and relate us to various placements and other exposures. Most of the students who wanted to work performed for the placements and got settled in companies like Springer, Cipla, etc.

Infrastructure: I used to live in a PG outside the campus. From my friends, I have heard that apart from the initial issue of allocating the hostel rooms in the first month of the first year, the hostel was reliable and affordable. Wi-Fi and a huge study room are provided for all the students. The library is near to our hostel, so there is no issue with traveling. Buses used to run at allocated times to drop the children. There is also ground for spaces in both hostels and colleges for their leisure. There is a hospital inside the campus, which used to provide free facilities for SPPU students. The food was a typical Maharashtra food which was moderately appealing. There are canteens in front of the department. Around the campuses, we used to get awesome food at a minimal rate.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are experienced and wise. They knew what they were teaching and never used to push our buttons to the extreme. There is a mix of vivas open books, exams, MCQs, etc., to accomodate our interests. All the teachers who taught us were research-oriented, so we are well-updated with ongoing research around the world. On Saturday, we used to get different speakers who gave us demonstrations about their works. Net preparing students used to get coaching as well. The course curriculum is updated and well-taught. Semester exams are easy, and it is out of 50 and for 1 hour. We used to have regular exams on Monday to help us go through our studies regularly.

Other: I have chosen this course because I love Chemistry and wanted to research in this particular field. I got admitted into Physical Chemistry since I wanted to do research in batteries and fuel. I loved the course and the teachers who taught me. I am presently doing my PhD at the same university.
