Our college provides good learning and experience.

Placements: In our course, the highest salary offered was 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.10 LPA. Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, TCS, etc., offer lucrative packages. The placement demand of the institute is getting better day by day. Many companies visit the university. Students in the final year of any course are eligible for placements. Companies that visited here are Google, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and many more. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: We have good classrooms, infrastructure, proper ventilation, and a green environment. But academics are not much good because of outdated content and teaching materials. Faculty members of LU nurture the inner quality of the students with the best education. They rely on student's power to increase the popularity of the institute. The campus is ragging and tobacco-free. . The canteen serves quality food for the students.

Faculty: Good and smooth exams are conducted. LU campus gets a good grade for its positive atmosphere. There is a good relationship between students and teachers. They are supportive and friendly.

Other: Campus life here is wonderful, and you can get a good experience of living in the hostel. Apart from education, there are a lot of co-curricular activities going on in every corner of the campus.

I am partially satisfied with study materials and absolutely satisfied with cultural events.

Placements: The faculty members of the economics department of Lucknow University are one of the best economics faculty members in the city. Basically, a lot of students who graduated from economics will opt for M.A economics or MBA, and just 20% of students attend job fairs. There are better placements as well as a psychology department, but not in all departments. Placements are provided department wise. Any student can get a salary package of around 2 LPA to 4 LPA. The average salary package is offered in the job fair of university cell. Last year, the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA for graduate students, and the highest salary package offered was up to 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Capital, Vodafone Idea, ITC, Dr. Lal Path Labs for the anthropology department and the new campus, Cancer Aid Society and Colgate. Internships are recently launched by the university administration in which any student can get Rs. 150 per hour and can do an internship for a maximum of 2 hours in a day and 50 days in a year. Overall, any student can earn Rs. 15,000 in one year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is extremely good here. There is a library and auditorium in every department. Tagore library of the university is just attached to our department and is India's top 10 libraries. Another library is a cyber library, where you can get access to 5G network Wi-Fi and thousands of computers to work and study. There is also a huge reading room. Cyber library is completely air-conditioned. Hostel facilities are different with respect to hostel management. Some hostels like Mahmoodabad hostel are good at management and mess, but all hostels do not have better infrastructure. Sports and games are at the peak for university students. There are a lot of stadiums on the campus and just 1 km away from the campus. You can visit KD Singh Babu Stadium. Medical facilities are not provided by the university. However, there are approximately 6 to 7 canteens named science canteen, commerce canteen, Kishori canteen, fine art canteen, gate number 4 canteen, etc. You can visit and enjoy in the commerce canteen despite being an arts student. Half of the Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station is on the campus and half in the Gomtinagar road, which connects you to CCS airport to Munshipuliya through IT and Vivekanand hospital.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and well qualified, but not in all departments. You will get qualified professors from the 3rd semester in some departments. There is a lack of professors. The course curriculum is outdated for economics and many other courses. The university syllabus was last updated in 2017. However, teachers are cooperative, and you can ask and discuss standard topics with them. Semester exams are moderate. Some students also get backlogs or fail in semester exams, and some students even pass with above 70%. If you study properly, you can score well in semesters.

Other: Our university has a lot of talented students. You can join societies and fests. They just need an excuse to organise any fest. There is one official cultural team named Sanskritiki, in which a lot of events are organised. The head of the Sanskritiki team is professor Rakesh Chandra who is also the dean of academics and head of the philosophy department. Sanskritiki is just a name. You will get around 20 cultural organisations which motivate you to participate in competitions like poster marking, poetry, singing and extempore. Kaavyom, Authors University and Adamya Official are good platforms to show your talent in university organisations. Recently our university released a notification for meritorious students regarding scholarships. If students score above 75% of marks and their family income is under 2 lac per annum as well as do not get any other scholarship, they will get Rs. 15,000 from the university administration every year.
