Feedback for University of Lucknow

Placements: Placement is provided in professional courses only. Most of the students are placed but their package is minimal. Package does not range above 4 lakhs per annum even for the process courses. Students have to find job on their own with their own efforts.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this University is rich and feels like heritage. The classrooms are spacious and airy .Hostel students give good feedback about the rooms and food. Many sports competitions and events are organized for hostel students. Canteens are also available in the campus.

Faculty: Faculties are helpful and understanding. They encourage us to participate in many events which promote our growth and widens our area of knowledge. Curriculum is up to the mark with the guidelines of new education policy. Exams take place every semester. Exams are not very difficult if you attend regular classes.

Other: Events and fests keep occuring quite often. There are many societies which students can join for their growth. Choosing Bachelor in arts was a personal choice but this university is quite famous and good for art courses.

I am satisfied because of interesting subjects and supportive teachers.

Placements: There are a total of 60 seats for the course. We do not have placements and internships. If you wish to intern, then you have to find an internship on your own. For the course of psychology, there are no job recruitments.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the psychology department is very old. There are labs for practicals but they are not well maintained. Talking about hostels and mess, the rooms are fine, but the food served is very bad and there is no geyser or water purifier. Canteens are very unhygienic.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified and experienced. Teaching is very good but there are a few teachers who are very qualified and experienced but they fail to convey their thoughts to students. The curriculum is very good and relevant. It makes students ready for future exams and also makes them a better person and gives them insight into themselves. The semester exams are mostly moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 33%. The highest percentage is usually between 70%-80%.

Other: I chose this course because it is very interesting and insightful. Psychology helps you understand yourself better, and also helps to understand others.

Everything related to our college is the best.

Placements: I am currently pursuing B.A. 3rd year from Lucknow University. I'm still completing my course, so I don't know about the jobs and salary offered in our course. Seniors have told they recruit students with good jobs and salaries but still not yet experienced. Around 55 students are there in our batch.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our course are amazing, well furnished and attractive. Everything for student welfare is available. Hostel facilities are also very good. Food is also good, and medical facilities, sports and games are also provided to students.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, educated, and they are as parents, and guide students at every point. They teach students in the best of possible ways with different books and the internet. Our course is a very good course for the students. It also prepares students for future jobs.

Other: I have chosen this course as I am interested in doing counselling and studying about peoples mind. Everything is perfect, and teachers teaching methods are very good. Events, fests and extracurricular activities are conducted, and it also helps students to take part and involve in activities and show their talents and also achieve knowledge.

University of Lucknow Psychology.

Placements: About 100+ students are there in Psychology. No certain package is guaranteed. Psychology is a vast subject and parallel to a medical degree, thus requiring time and enough knowledge. But soon, you get internships and related projects with the help of the faculty.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are available with whiteboards; an auditorium is also there. There is no access to Wi-Fi, yet the environment is very pleasant. A nearby canteen is available with decent food quality. Medical assistance is provided, and sports are well celebrated. A huge ground is available to practice.

Faculty: A bunch of knowledgeable female teachers with great experience who are very helpful and guiding. The curriculum provides a base for higher studies and an understanding of the subject. Semester exams are moderately tough for Psychology, and the passing percentage is also average.

Review by a graduation student 2022.

Placements: Didn't participated in the placement drive of the campus so don't know much about the overall placement. But as I can recall hardly any placement was held in the campus and everyone pursuing graduation had to go for the post graduate programme in various institutions.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good but after getting the rating A+ by NAAC the infrastructure so far is improving. On day to day basis money is been spent to improve the infrastructure of the campus but the washrooms of both Boys and Girls still remains mess. No proper hygiene is been maintained in washrooms for both the gender.

Faculty: The faculty of our department was quite good and cooperative they helped us with providing lectures on day to day basis and helped us to improvise our notes. The students who faced mental issues were given counselling free of cost. Exams were held twice in a year which means that we had total 2 semesters in a year and overall 6 semesters in 3 years of graduation programme.

Other: I had choose the course because I had interest in the subjects which I had choose. The best thing was making friendships and communication and networking through the graduation days. It was fun while having classes and meeting and greeting new people from different backgrounds. There were hardly any fest held because of COVID guidelines.
