How can I get a duplicate JMI Entrance Exam admit card in case I lose it?

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. The admit card can be downloaded any number of times till the day of examination by logging on to the official website of JMI. The admit card once issued is always visible on the dashboard. So, candidates should not worry in case of lost admit card. However, candidates are also advised to keep a soft copy with them for future reference so that they can take a printout if required. Sometimes due to technical issues also candidates may face difficulty in downloading the admit card, in such a situation having a soft copy proves to be very helpful.

Can I appear for JMI Entrance exam if I forget to carry my photo ID?

No, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates are advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, JMI admit card, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the JMI exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the JMI Entrance Exam exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the self-attested passport sized photographs pasted on it.

I have signed on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card by mistake. What should I do now?

Candidates have to sign on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card in the presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case one has signed it before that, he/she can discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. In case a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they will have to take a printout of the JMI Entrance Exam admit card from the exam centre or from the vicinity.

When will CUET PG application for JMI admissions 2026 begin?

Can I challenge the JMI answer key released by Jamia Millia Islamia?

Yes, candidates can submit their objections against the JMI answer key within 48 hours after the same is published through electronic means. Candidates are required to pay INR 500 per programme to challenge the answer key. No grievance is entertained by the university without the payment of fee. The examination authority also do not entertain any requests submitted after the expiry of the time frame. Hence, candidates should raise their objections within the stipulated time.

What documents are required to be brought at the time of JMI Entrance Exam counselling?

During the counselling candidates are required to bring these documents: Registration Form, Admit Card, Two recent passport size photographs, Proof of Permanent Address with the name of the nearest police station and district, Proof of passing the qualifying examination along with the marksheets, Proof of Age, Character Certificate from the institution last attended, Certificate from a doctor or hospital certifying blood group, Category certificate (If applicable), Certificate/Affidavit from gazetted officer (in case of gap period), and Result of qualifying examination.

JMI entrance exam admit card 2026 will tentatively be released in April 2026. Jamia Millia Islamia University usually releases the admit card at least a week before the exam dates, so students can make the required travel and accommodation arrangements. Only candidates who successfully submit the JMI Entrance Exam application form will be able to download the JMI admit card online at admission.jmi.ac.in.
