The Purvanchal University Common Admission Test PUCAT is administered by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) in order to admit students to the university's undergraduate and graduate programmes. The Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) is conducted by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in order to offer students admission in various postgraduate courses. The exam is conducted annually and it is through qualifying PUCAT, that candidates are granted admission to the varsity. Through PUCAT, candidates can get admission in MBA, MA and MSc courses. The mode of the exam is offline and the medium of the entrance exam is English.

The PUCAT 2025 admit card will tentatively be released towards the end of June 2025 while the exam is likely to be conducted in July 2025. 

PUCAT is usually held in three shifts -

First Shift- 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Second Shift- 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Third Shift- 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Yes. Candidates can apply for MA through PUCAT if they have completed their BA in Political Science. In order to pursue MA through PUCAT, candidates are required to meet the required eligibility criteria. The candidate should be a graduate from any stream and should have secured a minimum of 45% in their graduation from a recognised board.
