What is CUET PG?
The Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or NTA CUET PG, is an all-India level entrance exam that is being introduced for admission into PG programmes in Central and participating Universities. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from North East and from rural and other remote areas and help to establish better connections with the Universities. CUET PG 2025 Reservation Criteria
Providing Reservation relaxation to the weaker categories of CUET PG aspirants helps them to avail themselves of the reservation, including comparatively lower application fees, cutoff marks, and course/admission fees. Indian Nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India. NTA has added two more CUET PG exam centres last year upon the requests received from candidates for their convenience. Gurugram (Haryana) and Srinagar (Uttarakhand) will now be shown in the CUET PG exam city preference list while filling out the CUET PG application form.
The Test Centres of CUET PG 2025 are expected to be located in 302 cities across India and abroad. As many as 24 international cities have been chosen by NTA. Candidates are needed to select as many as two test cities while filling out the application form for CUET PG 2024 in preferential order. The application fee will also vary as per the selection of the Indian and international Test Centres of CUET PG 2024. Once the test centre is allotted in the admit card, candidates' requests to change the test city will not be entertained. CUET PG 2023 Section 1 or the General section was found to be easy to moderate by maximum number of candidates in the examination centres.
