The department of Business Administration, USTM offers two years full time MBA (approved by AICTE) programme. Admission to MBA programme done on basis of entrnace exams followed by a Personal Interview (PI) & Group Discussion (GD) at the university campus. The entrance exam for MBA is optional like candiates can appear for CAT/MAT/XMAT or they can write the university based entrance exam USTM-CAT. Candidates having valid scorecards of CAT/MAT/XMAT etc. will be exempted from USTM-CAT and such candidates may directly appear for PI & GD. The final merit list for admission in MBA will be prepared considering the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, score of USTM-CAT/MAT/CAT/XMAT and marks obtained in PI & GD.

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Yes, USTM does offers course in Pharmacy. USTM Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers courses in BPharm, DPharm and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharm) is a two years Diploma programme and  Bachelor of Pharmacy (abbreviated B Pharm) is an undergraduate four years academic degree programme in the field of pharmacy. USTM does offers Degree in regional language i.e.  Khasi, Assamese and Garo. The university offers Postgraduate level programme in Khasi, Assamese and Garo. The programme covers duration of two years. To get into the programme candidates must posses 45% aggregate (5% Relaxation for reserved categories).
