Assam University accepts admission in MCom through CUET-PG, for which the candidate should have passed BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Therefore, candidates willing to take admission in MCom at Assam University must take the CUET-PG exam and must prepare well to achieve a good rank because only those applicants whose rank is above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by Assam University will be considered for the counselling round followed by the document verification and fees payment.

Also, 50% of the MCom course seats are reserved for Assam University internal students, i.e., those who have passed the qualifying examination from Assam University affiliated college.

The total fee for the Assam University MBA course includes multiple components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, admission fee, application fee, etc. Moreover, the admission fee for the MBA course is INR 2,000. This is a nonrefundable fee, which can be paid by the students at the time of filling out the application. Yes, Assam University does offer internships to its MBA students. Even, students need to go to the compulsory Summer Internship as assigned by the department. All MBA students, after their second end-semester examination is over and before the commencement of the third semester in the second year, will have to compulsorily undergo a summer internship of preferably eight weeks duration.

Assam CEE 2024 exam date has been announced. The authorities conducted Assam CEE offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test on June 2, 2024 (11 AM to 2 PM). As per the official pattern, the candidates had to answer 120 objective multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. No extra time was provided to the candidates. The official notification regarding the Assam CEE 2024 dates is now available for admission to BTech course at Assam University. 

Assam University accepts admission through various national-level, state-level & university-level entrance exams. CUET-UG is also one of those entrance exams that Assam University enrol candidates. 

Students need to prepare well for the CUET-UG exam because only those candidates can register further for the admission process whose rank or scorecard will be within the range specified by the university, i.e. merit list, which will be released on Assam University's official website. 

Apart from CUET-UG, there are several other gateway exams for admission to Assam University, such as JEE-Main, CAT, WSAT, CUCET, etc.

Computer Science Engineering at Assam University is one of the most opted domains by students. However, the placement records of BTech in Assam University are less compared to other state and central universities.

But having said that, Assam University BTech course and especially the CSE discipline is far better than other disciplines provided under the BTech course through Assam University.

Candidates willing to take admission in BTech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) must take the JEE-Main exam. They should secure a good rank to become eligible for the counselling process at Assam University.
