The University of Madras Institute of Distance Education offers a variety of short-term courses in distance learning, including a Diploma programme in 15 specialisations, a PG Diploma programme in seven, and a certificate programme in eight specialisations, to prepare its students for a variety of career options. The Madras University MA application form can be filled out online. While filling out the form, students are required to upload scanned copies of certain documents. Below are the required documents:

• Class 10 and12 marksheets
• UG degree
• UG marksheets
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate
• Income certificate (applicable for candidates seeking admission via EWS category)
