How to prepare for ULSAT 2026?

  • Make a time-table for subject-wise preparation - Candidates should read about each subject separately. Allocate equal time to each section.
  • Get study material - Candidates should collect the books and preparation material for each subject based on the syllabus. 
  • Practising question papers- Practice questions on a regular basis to develop speed know how to perform well in limited time during the exam

ULSAT 2026 Syllabus

The ULSAT question paper will be based on the below given subjects-

Language Comprehension 

The section will be based on the English language including, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, phrases, idioms and more. The candidates will be tested for their proficiency in the subject.

Quantitative & Numerical Ability 

The section will be based on elementary mathematics including, algebra, probability, percentage, arithmetic and more. Candidates should cover the syllabus of Class 10th mathematics to prepare for this section.

Logical Reasoning

The section will be based on reasoning topics including, series, arrangements, arguments and conclusions, patterns etc.

Legal Aptitude and General Knowledge 

The section will cover important news and topics of legal importance such as landmark cases, the constitution of India, and important laws of torts, civil law, IPR, international law etc. The questions will be of moderate level only.

No, you cannot get into a National Law University (NLU) with a ULSAT score. NLU admissions for the 25 participating NLUs is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For NLU Delhi the AILET is conducted. ULSAT is for UPES, not NLUs, so you need CLAT or AILET scores.

Yes, you can get admission based on CLAT Score. Apart from that you can also appear for ULSAT Exam conducted by the university.

ULSAT Exam Result will be published online. Since the whole admission process is completely online nothing will be published offline. Candidates must not trust anything published offline.

ULSAT Exam is held in online mode. To appear in the exam you have to book a slot. In case you are applying for admission through CLAT Score then you don't need to attempt the exam.

The ULSATisn't considered extremely tough, especially if you're preparing for exams like CLAT. It is a moderate-difficult exam conducted in online mode with no negative marking. As the pattern is similar to other law entrance exam it is easy to clear.
