UPES Law Admission 2026 via Non-Exam Pathway
For admission to law programmes at the Colleges of Legal Studies, UPES, candidates have the option to choose a 'non-exam pathway. This allows them to bypass the ULSAT exam if they meet any of the following criteria:
- They hold a valid rank in top 10,000 or have scored over 60 percent in the CLAT.
- Having 85 percent marks or above in the Class 10 and Class 12 are exempted to appear for the ULSAT, and CLAT scores are also not required.
For the BTech LLB course, candidates who have secured 70 percent or more in aggregate in Class 10 and 12, along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, are exempt from taking the UPESEAT exam.

No, you cannot get into a National Law University (NLU) with a ULSAT score. NLU admissions for the 25 participating NLUs is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For NLU Delhi the AILET is conducted. ULSAT is for UPES, not NLUs, so you need CLAT or AILET scores.
