The SLAT has not been released by anyone. However, the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority provides details on the sections from which questions are asked in the SLAT exam. SET is the conducting body of the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) entrance exam. The sections ascertained by the authority from which questions are asked in the exam are Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and General English. Thus, it can be stated that the SET Authority does not release a detailed syllabus for SLAT, but it provides an overview of the syllabus.

There are chances of repetition of questions from the past 2-3 years in the latest question paper of SLAT. However, there is no guarantee that the exam conducting authority will do so. Questions from SLAT question papers that are 5-6 years old will not be repeated in the exam because SLAT question papers are based on topics relevant to contemporary and useful areas of education. The SLAT 2023's Reading Comprehension section was the simplest. In the Reading Comprehension section of the SLAT 2023, questions related to articles from newspapers like "The Hindu" and "Times of India" were asked. Candidates were required to apply their knowledge of sentence structure and vocabulary of the English language to solve questions related to the Reading Comprehension section of SLAT 2023. Thus, the knowledge of English Grammar and vocabulary helped them to perform well to solve the section.

Yes, candidates can crack SLAT by solving previous years’ question papers of the exam because these question papers can help them get familiarised with the SLAT exam pattern and types of questions asked in the exam. But SLAT aspirants need to know that solving previous years’ question papers is not enough to score well in the exam. They need to learn the basic concepts about the topics on which questions are asked in SLAT. Doing so will allow them to solve any questions asked in the SLAT question paper, even if these questions were not asked in previous years’ question papers.

Since the SLAT places a lot of emphasis on analytical skills, the questions tend to be drawn from subjects that call for in-depth study and practise. Candidates must employ their capacity for minute observation and quick calculation in each of the three areas of the SLAT question paper. The Symbiosis Law Admission Test authority does not provide subtle details about the SLAT syllabus. Thus, the syllabus for SLAT cannot be specified accurately. The exam authority only shares the details associated with the sections related to the SLAT question paper, which are Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge. Thus, candidates only study to prepare for relevant sections along with mathematics (of level up to Class 10) and current affairs to prepare for SLAT.

The SLAT question paper contains 12 questions persection and each question carries one mark. Thus, the total number of questions in the SLAT question paper is 60.

To prepare for this section, read the SLAT question banks from prior years. Try to stay focused as you practise SLAT mock exams and sample papers. Go through the Analytical Reasoning section important topics. 

Mathematics questions are asked under the reasoning section of SLAT. The main topics asked are

4. Simple Interest
5. Percentage
6. Number System
7. Algebra

The SLAT syllabus is not available for download because the SET exam authority does not provide any details other than the exam sections related to the SLAT syllabus. Aspirants who want to appear in SLAT can refer to the syllabus of other law entrance exams similar to SLAT to get an idea of the topics associated with the SLAT syllabus. They can check the CLAT syllabus because the CLAT exam pattern is similar to the SLAT exam pattern. CLAT is tougher than SLAT. Thus, if SLAT applicants prepare according to the CLAT syllabus, they will be able to crack the SLAT exam.

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority, the conducting body of the SLAT exam, does not provide a detailed syllabus for it. However, it provides the details of the sections from which questions are asked in the entrance exam. These sections are Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English and General Knowledge. From each sections 12 questions are asked in the exam. Each question carries one mark and does not have any penalties for a wrong answer. Thus, the total marks for the SLAT exam are 60, which are scaled down to 50.

The Symbiosis International University mentions the names of Broad topics in the SLAT syllabus. The candidates consider the General Knowledge section as the most difficult. Prepare for this section accordingly and use the best books available to get a good percentile in this section of SLAT exam. 

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test, SLAT will carry 60 questions in each section: Logical Reasoning, Legal and Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge. Each question will be of 1 mark. Earlier, there were 50 questions in each section. Also, the SLAT Writing Ability Test (WAT) has been scrapped. Now, only the entrance exam and PI are conducted for selection.
