No, direct admission is not valid for B.Ed course at Utkal University. Candidates willing to get admission to B.Ed course must qualify for Utkal University Entrance Test. The university will evaluate candidates based on their past academic records and scores of entrance test. However, the reservation policy of the Government of Odisha is applicable for admission to B.Ed courses. Yes, Utkal University accepts CAT scores for admission to its MBA in Agri-Business Management. Candidates willing to get admission to this course can appear for CAT and submit their scores at the time of filling the application form. Apart from CAT, the university also considers scores of other entrance exams such as MAT, CMAT, XAT, ICAR-AIEEA PG, TISSNET and UMAT (in-house) entrance exams).

Admission to integrated courses such as BBA-MBA is based on the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by the university.
