VELS University admissions are open to all courses for the academic year 2025-26. The university offers a wide range of programmes to students at the UG, PG, PhD, and diploma levels. VELS University Pallavaram Chennai offers various programmes such as BTech, BSc, MTech, MBA, etc. VELS University admission 2025 is purely merit-based, determined by Class 12 standard marks. The university conducts its own VELS Scholarship Admission Test (V-SAT) to provide scholarship admission to 60+ UG courses. Additionally, VISTAS Chennai also accepts national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, GATE, etc., for admission to MBA and MTech courses, respectively.

The mode of VELS University Pallavaram Chennai admissions is online. Candidates willing to get admission must take part in the VISTAS admission process before the last date of application. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme at Vistas Pallavaram must be Class 12 passed in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate based on specialisation. In addition to this, a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate score is applicable for some of the specialisations. As per the latest report, the participating recruiters offered various job offers to batch 2025 of courses such as BTech, MBA, and MCA. The highest package offered during VELS University placements 2025 stood at INR 12 LPA. Further, 52 recruiters offered an average package of more than INR 5 LPA to the students of the batch 2025.

Earlier, VELS University recorded 79.5% placements in the academic year 2023-2024. A total of 3,477 students of the batch 2024 were placed out of the 3,941 students eligible for the placements. VELS University campus is located in Pallavaram, Chennai, and offers a safe environment to students. The college offers all the essential facilities for students, including academic blocks, a library, collaboration spaces, a café, a convenience store, etc. VISTAS Campus has a sprawling built-up area of 29 lakh sq ft. with 207 laboratories, 352 classrooms, and 7 auditoriums. The university provides hostel facilities with 10 boys’ hostels and 5 girls’ hostels.
