Yes, admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses at VTU is based on merit and accepted entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are  KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main,  DCET, and others. Students must prepare well for the JEE Main exams. Fill out the mock Main application form timely. Give as many mock tests as possible. 

VTU average package data is not released. However, according to Management NIRF report 2024 released by the University, the  MBA median package offered over the past three years are presented below:

Karnataka Examination Authority will commence the KCET application form facility after the conclusion of the exam at the official website. Applicants can make changes in the KCET application form in online mode. Candidates are allowed to make changes in certain fields only. Applicants are advised to cross-check all the details before submitting information. KEA do not entertain any request for change in KCET application form after the conclusion of correction facility.  

Yes, B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at VTU is easily achievable with a rank of 7000 for the students belonging to the General AI category.

Yes, VTU has hostel facilities for its students within the campus itself. Hostel is available on single occupancy basis. Both male and female students are provided with separate hostels at VTU. The university also has mess facilities available at the campus. Students can visit the campus to apply for the hostel.
