Modern campus, supportive faculty and solid placements

Placements: I am from the cybersecurity course at VIT–Andhra Pradesh, and placements here are pretty solid. Many students get roles like SOC analyst, security analyst, and network security engineer. The average package is good, and those who focus on projects and certifications usually land better offers and internships.

Infrastructure: The campus has really good infrastructure for cybersecurity. Labs are updated, Wi-Fi is stable, and classrooms are modern. We get access to plenty of tools and digital resources. Hostel rooms are clean and comfortable, and the campus overall feels safe, lively, and student-friendly.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is practical, covering topics like ethical hacking, forensics, network security, and cloud security. Labs help a lot in understanding the concepts. Exams are fair, and workshops and hackathons enhance the learning experience.

Other: Campus life at VIT–Andhra Pradesh is vibrant and enjoyable. There are clubs, technical events, hackathons, and cultural fests throughout the year. The crowd is friendly and diverse, and the campus environment is clean, modern, and peaceful. It’s a good mix of academics and fun.

A room of opportunities.

Placements: There are a lot of internship opportunities from 3rd year. Many companies have a set of online tests and interviews, and those who get selected they would be given a summer internship opportunity before entering their fourth year. This helps one know where they lack and work for their betterment.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available on whole campus. Canteens are well-maintained. Libraries have all the resources needed that help students to prepare for each of the subjects that they have chosen no matter which degree they are pursuing. The food in the canteen is a little pricy.

Faculty: Teachers are always available for doubt clarification. Our course is crafted by TCS which makes it industry-ready. There are a lot of resources available within the campus that help students in exam preparation which results in good grades. Exams are moderate.

Other: I chose this course because even though it comes under cyber security, there is a lot of business subjects that make one industry-ready.

Don't keep it as the first option.

Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed. But, most of them get placed with less salaries. The type of recruiting companies was also not that good. Very few students get internships. Mine was cybersecurity specialisation in computer science engineering.

Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure, Wi-Fi and classrooms are also good. The maintenance of the library is also good. One can have good atmosphere of silence and pace over there. Sometimes, it will be crowded but sufficient places are available. Electronic books were also available.

Faculty: Teachers helped a lot but the problem was we didn't try to understand. Concentrating on class and following teachers presentations students can get good grades. Here, students can select their own course and timetable so students can manage their own time to develop their skills.

Everything about VIT - Andhra Pradesh University.

Placements: More than 70 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 26 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, DE Shaw & Co., Morgan Stanley, Amazon, PayPal, Cisco, Intel, JP Morgan, and many more. Internship statistics are not known.

Infrastructure: Facilities include AC labs and Wi-Fi-provided campuses, but classrooms are non-AC. There is a library located in Admin Block 1. All blocks are equipped with lifts. The hostel is also equipped with Wi-Fi, and there is enough mobile network speed, so students shouldn't need to use Wi-Fi for the internet. The quality of the mess food is average. There is a canteen where students can go and eat. Also, on weekends they can order food from restaurants to campus. There are several sports facilities available, like a football ground, cricket batting practice nets, a badminton court, a tennis court, and many more. There is a clinic of Manipal Hospital located in the academic block. And there is also an ambulance available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and a few of the teachers are really knowledgeable and provide high-quality instruction. The course curriculum is made according to industry standards. The semester exams are moderate, and you can score good marks with two days of studying. The pass percentage is 90 percent.

Other: I chose this course due to my personal interest. I wish the hostel facilities and mess food would be improved. There are many events on campus. Every Saturday, or alternating Saturdays, there is a cultural event. The nearest city to campus is Vijayawada, which is 30 minutes from the campus.

It has good campus life with average placements.

Placements: Around 70% of students were placed last year. Our highest package is around 90 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA to 8 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Google will come. Around 25% of students got internships in our college this year.

Infrastructure: We have one of the best infrastructures in Andhra Pradesh. Every week we have one lab for each subject. The Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. The library is very good. We have many books there. In our hostel, they also provide good food, healthy for health, with non-veg served four times a week.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are unhelpful to students. They don't bother about you. They just lecture and go. Some faculty will teach well and prepare students for the industry. Our semester exams are moderate to difficult level exams. Out of 100 marks, to pass is 40 marks.
