The admission process begins with the beginning of the CUET exam in 2025. Candidates with a valid qualification must apply for the exam on the official website of the exam. After the NTA has released the CUET admit card, candidates must appear for the exam and secure a valid score.

The Central University of Punjab conducts the counseling rounds for students based on their CUET exam scores. After the counseling rounds, seats are allocated as per the exam score and availability of the seats. Once the seats are allocated, candidates must accept the cousre seats by paying the admisson fee.

Central University of Punjab MBA fee is around INR 20,000 for two years. At the time of admission, the fee charged from the students includes tuition fee, examination fee, laboratory fee, sports fee, computer and internet fee and many other components. Central University of Punjab admission to BPharma course is subject to valid score in the CUET exam 2025. Therefore candidates cannot get direct admission in Central University of Punjab BPharma course. Students willing to get admission to the BPharma course will have to apply for the CUET 2025 exam. 

National Testing Agency commenced CUET 2026 registration on January 03, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration is January 30, 2026 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

The Central University of Punjab (CUP) requires a minimum score of 239 for general category students to be admitted to MBA programs in 2023. For other MBA programs, students should check the official CUP website. The overall CUET-PG cutoff for 2023 is 87–245 marks.

The cutoff for PG courses like MA Political Science, MA Psychology, MBA Agribusiness, and MA International Relations and Political Science ranges from 270–230 to 280–240. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. For SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD, the minimum is 50%. Candidates must also appear for the CUCET entrance exam for the academic year.

The CUET PG 2026 admit card is expected to be released in the fourth week of February. Only the registered candidates will be issued the admit card. 

Central University of Punjab offers a total of 595 seats for its MSc course.
