You cannot join the Central University of Punjab without appearing for the central university's common test CUCET for PG courses the eligibility criteria for PG courses at the Central University of Punjab require a valid score on CUCET and graduation with merit. The admission process for PG courses is based on CUCET followed by and interview. Yes, the Central University of Punjab does offer BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. The course has been launched from 2024 onwards. Admission to the course will be based on the CUET UG exam followed by the university-level entrance exam. Further, candidates must have the below-mentioned qualifications

Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Science, Information Technology,  Information Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, and Business Studies. Ca Obtained at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
