How LPU Changed My Life: Kanu Vashisht

I was very passionate about finance and wanted to know about business in depth. This made me choose the Commerce stream in class 11^th so that I could proceed with BBA or MBA for my education. However, right now, I am doing B.Com (Hons). Actually, I chose this over BBA because B.Com comes under Commerce and BBA comes under Business and Administration. I am grateful to be doing this course. What made me choose Lovely Professional University was that it was located near my home. Along with that, LPU offered a great amount of scholarships to every student on the basis of 12^th marks.

Apart from that, what I have experienced by now is that the faculty is well-educated and experienced. The campus has an informal environment; you feel like you are at your home. There’s no need to worry about safety; there’s full security control with proper check. This allures me more to carry on with this university and motivate others to come to this university too. It is a good place to study and live.

The infrastructure is up to the mark as well.

I am planning to pursue my higher studies from Lovely Professional University too. Overall, I must say, LPU has rejuvenated my personality to an extent that I can go anywhere with full confidence. I am grateful to be here.

Actually, for my admission, I had tried for many government colleges but unfortunately, I was unable to meet their admission criteria, so I tried for LPU. There was no entrance test to be given for taking admission in LPU; you only must have cleared your 12^th examination with a certain percentage. I had not taken any coaching classes for any entrance test. During admission, I had given LPUNEST for a scholarship.  Overall, I had received the Early Decision Benefit LPU. The concept was very good.

At the time of admission, I was clear about pursuing my bachelors in Commerce. My next plan is to get placement in a renowned organization from the campus placements.

I spend most of the time attending classes and, after that, grabbing information about upcoming events. I usually attend classes of all the subjects. I also participate in most of the extra-curricular activities of every field. I want to represent LPU internationally.

If I talk about my experience in LPU, then it has been great so far. I have changed to the extent that I am now a fully confident girl having high aspirations and dreams to fulfill. I have experienced drastic changes in myself because of a good environment and friend circles that got upgraded with time.

You can get anything you want but for that, first, you have to be focussed and determined towards the goal you had set before coming to your dream university. I must tell the students that they should have the courage to transform themselves in order to transform the world.

I’ve got many friends here. I used to be interested in spirituality and found company in people with the same interests as mine.

If I talk about extra-curricular activities, LPU keeps organising various events and activities from time to time right after the classes.

At every convocation each year, LPU tries to call international as well as national leaders to hand over the degrees to the merit holders, which creates a big impact on the junior students and their parents.

Overall, I must say I am at a good place for studying as well as for living.
