Good academics and decent placements, but you need to be proactive to make the best out of it.
Placements: Around 50–60 percent of people who sit for placements get placed. The highest package goes around 10–12 LPA, and the average is 4–5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Wipro, and banks visit regularly. Many students also get internships in similar firms. Overall, opportunities are decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, with well-maintained classrooms, a good library, and campus Wi-Fi. There is no hostel in the evening college. The canteen food is affordable and okay. The medical facilities are basic, and sports facilities are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, and most explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is relevant for B. Com (Hons), but you have to build extra skills to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult and manageable with regular studies.
Other: I choose B. Com (Hons) because it gives strong basics in finance, accounts, and business and keeps options open for CA, MBA, or corporate jobs. The campus crowd is decent and active in societies and fests. Connectivity is good, and there are regular events, with scholarship opportunities also available.

Review of students in the college.
Placements: Percentage of students who got placed in my course was more than 95%. The highest package was 18 LPA. The lowest package was 4 LPA. Percentage of students who got internships in this course was more than 75%. Top role offered in my course was HR at Microsoft.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my course were so good like Wi-Fi and classrooms. All things were available. Library was not present in college. The quality and facility in my hostel and canteen were so super. Medical facilities were also available. Sports and games were present in my college.
Faculty: Teachers in my college were so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching qualities were good. This course curriculum was relevant to make students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college were very difficult. Pass percentage was 80% in this course.
Other: I chose this course to get knowledge and very degree. There were no best things to improve in my course. Events were so super. Our campus crowd was so good. Scholarships were also available in my college.

Great infrastructure and facilities, decent placements, but faculty needs improvement.
Placements: I don't know much about these as I am in the 2nd year of my college life. The highest package of my college is 20 Lacs and the lowest package is 3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are BYJU’S and Lido Learning. The average package offered is 5 to 6 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good and slowly it is constructing more buildings like sports facilities and synthetic grounds for us. The library of our college is good and has a good Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are well maintained and have facilities like smart boards, AC, etc. Our college has rooms for girls so that if they do not feel good, they can rest.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good, but some are not so good. Semester exams are good and are very helpful for our placements and internship opportunities. Semester exams are not so difficult, and the passing percentage is 4 CGPA. Teachers are well qualified, but some teachers are strict in nature.
Other: As my college is an evening college, so if anyone wants to take admission in the college, I want them to choose the morning college as they have more facilities than evening college, and the value of their courses is more than the courses of evening college.

True review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College.
Placements: Placements are not given to even the interested candidate, and if given, it is of very little pay. It becomes hard to sustain in a city like Delhi. The only thing is if you need a placement, you have to join the placement cell society because they only allow their members to get placements.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility. It lacks its infrastructure. The academic building could collapse at any time. It is dependent on the infrastructure of the morning college. There are timing and attendance issues. A lot of problems are waiting for you if you get this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are hired for free. They don't want to teach. The curriculum in every DU college is the same as every state university now. I suggest state university is good for students who want a college life with some extra courses.

Overall it is a good college especially for commerce courses. But the ratio of female is low.
Placements: There are many good companies coming to our college, like the Big 4. The placement cell at our college is also very active. Students at my college are doing internships at various reputed institutions. Students from the commerce field are more likely to get a good placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. There is a good library that is well maintained, and students can get the books they need for preparation. The principal is doing a lot for the development of our college's infrastructure. An indoor as well as outdoor stadium is also under construction .
Faculty: The teachers at our college are highly qualified. Each one of them either has completed their Ph.D. or is pursuing their Ph.D. currently. The semester exams for du are moderately difficult. A student must secure 40% to pass their exams; otherwise, they will get an essential repeat.

Top college for B.Com.
Placements: Shahid Bhagat Singh College is one of the top colleges of Delhi University. The placements are very good here. The average package is around 7 LPA for B.Com. honours. Some of the top recruiting sectors include banking sector corporate sector, and finance sector. Some companies are Amazon EY KPMG, etc.
Infrastructure: Shahid Bhagat Singh College has some good infrastructure. It has all the needed facilities and amenities. We have a huge playground, volleyball court, badminton court, auditorium, seminar halls, labs, and libraries as well. The food served in the canteen is also delicious and under budget.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers here is impeccable and really wholesome. They are very helpful and welcoming. We always discuss case studies in our classes and get practical exposure to the theory that we read. I just left her to take part in my course.

Really satisfied with the college because of the amazing faculty and infrastructure facilities.
Placements: I would say that the placements at SBSEC are decent, not so great not bad either. Some of the prominent recruiters are Deloitte, Wipro, Genpact and others. They offer good packages to students. They hire for various roles like Audit Assistants, Analyst, Management Trainees, etc. I remember Deloitte offered a package of 6.05 LPA. 2 of my good friends grabbed those offers. Apart from these companies, various other companies also come on campus for hiring but they offer very average packages of around 3-4 LPA and the majority of them hire only for Business Development profiles. I think around 60%-70% of students from our batch got placements, but a few of them rejected the offers as well because of the lower salaries and roles offered. And same goes for internships as well. Some of them are paid, while some are unpaid. The majority of the roles offered are for BD Interns, content writers, etc.
Infrastructure: Firstly, I want to mention that SBSEC does not provide any hostel facilities. You will have to make your arrangements and look out for PGs or flats near the college. Now talking about the infrastructure of the college, I'll say that SBSEC has a great infrastructure. The classrooms are very spacious with good seating available. All the classes have a whiteboard. There are 3-4 seminar halls as well where different meets take place, guest speakers come to share their knowledge and experiences. All the seminar halls have a digital projector facility. There are various labs on the campus like Computer labs, geography labs, etc. And all of them are well-equipped and fully air-conditioned. Students can access them whenever needed. A medical room is also present in the college which provides first-aid facilities to its students. The canteen is also very big which provides good food at reasonable rates. Talking about sports facilities, there are 2 basketball courts, a very big playground for cricket and football, a volleyball court is there and a sports room for indoor games is also present.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college and the curriculum of B.Com (Hons) are really great. Teachers are very supportive, highly qualified and experienced. They possess very good knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and they try to provide such knowledge to their students in the best possible way. They don't get irritated even if you ask repeated doubts. I would say that the teaching quality is really awesome at SBSEC. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it gives wholesome knowledge to students and makes them industry-ready. It covers every aspect of the business world, be it HRM, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Auditing, etc. The level of exams conducted also tests the complete knowledge of the students and not just focus on cramming.
Other: I also had other options for colleges (even morning colleges), but I chose SBSEC over them because of its strong academic reputation in the industry, the quality of education it imparts, the wholesomeness of the course, and amazing faculty members. One point where I would like the college to improve on is the placement opportunities it provides, the companies coming on campus are very reputed but they should start hiring for various other roles as well. The college committees also conduct fests and other events regularly which provides good exposure to its students.

This was a good experience of my life .
Placements: Placements are good. Here, around 70 to 80 percent of students got placed last year. I've also been offered a good package. Packages are around INR 4 LPA to 10 LPA. The college also supports placements. Companies from the banking and finance sectors come here; some banks and companies are ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very awesome. The campus is very beautiful and nature-friendly. Classrooms and libraries are maintained properly. Wi-Fi facilities are available on the whole campus, in the library, and in classrooms. Hostel facilities are very good. All the sports facilities are available on campus. Mess food is also good.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are well qualified and from top universities. Teaching quality is awesome. They solve our doubts very easily. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments.
Exams are not so difficult. You can score good marks in exams if you study normally and complete your syllabus.
Other: I chose this course because it makes me job-ready.

- Register and ApplyInterested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. - Course and College SelectionCut-off list for each college, course and reservation category would be published on the university portal. Candidates meeting the requisite cut-offs, has to select the desired course and college on DU admission portal.

You can only get admission if you are under PWD category that too in the third and fourth cut-off. For other categories, its not possible.
