The decision to study computer science engineering was made by me during the twelfth grade. I loved math, which was always my favorite subject, and I found pleasure in tackling complex mathematical problems. It is clear that this affection of mine for arithmetic extended into the world of computers where problem-solving is a crucial aspect. I realised that computer science would not only enable me to continue with my love for solving problems but also give me skills that are highly applicable technology-driven society. Every day, new breakthroughs and developments are achieved in the field of computer science, which is continuously changing. The field's dynamic nature and limitless opportunities drew me in. I'm excited about the possibility of leading the way in technical advancement and helping to create fresh ideas and solutions. I decided to work on this subject in order to hone my problem-solving abilities and to contribute to an area of study that is influencing the course of history.

Looking Ahead: Aspirations Beyond Engineering

Even though earning a computer science degree is an important accomplishment, my goals go beyond engineering. I've always wanted to accomplish something significant in my life, and I envision myself in a civil service position on the road. My engineering degree is equipping me with analytical and problem-solving skills that I think will be quite useful in a public service job. My ultimate objective is to have a significant impact on society, and I am sure that having an engineering background will provide me with the special insight and abilities I need to achieve this. I want to use my degree to improve society, whether it's by creating technologically advanced answers to societal issues or through policy-making. The change from school to college has been huge, and my experience at Chandigarh University is very different from what it was during my school years. In school, rote learning and adhering to a predetermined curriculum were the main priorities. But a college education stresses autonomous learning, practical application, and critical thinking—especially at a place like Chandigarh University. I realised that hard work is a must for success in college and in school as a responsible student. But the nature of that labor has evolved. Self-control and time management are prioritized more in college. There are roughly 29–32 lectures per week, making for a demanding schedule. It is necessary to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance, which calls for meticulous preparation and commitment. The college offers chances that make effort worthwhile, even with its demanding timetable. With so many options for education, development, and discovery, the campus is a lively and dynamic location. Every week, a two-day break provides much-needed relief, enabling students to unwind, rejuvenate, and explore the expansive campus. Students who want to enroll in this prestigious university must pass the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Every year, an online exam is administered to pupils covering the subjects they studied in their 12th grade. Scholarships are given to students based on their CUCET results, which can drastically lower their tuition costs. This ensures that a diverse student body at Chandigarh University can pursue their academic goals and that talented individuals are not deterred from doing so by a lack of funds. Thus far, my journey has been self-discovery, growth, and learning. My time at Chandigarh University has been fruitful in that it has not only improved my academic background but also equipped me to meet the demands of the working world. The campus provides a setting that is supportive of both academic and personal growth, thanks to its cutting-edge facilities and active community.
