IGNOU Grade Card 2025: UG & PG Result, Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) releases IGNOU grade card 2025 in December and June every year. IGNOU 2025 result is released on the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in. Candidates can check the IGNOU result by entering their enrolment number.
The details mentioned in the IGNOU grade card include, name of the university, student name, gender, list of subject names, marks scored in each subject, total marks and final status (Pass/Fail), among others. Every year, UG and PG students of various courses such as UG Diploma, MBA, MA, PG Diploma, BA, MSc, BSc and B.Ed, among others appear for the IGNOU exams.
Candidates need to note that IGNOU grade card 2025 is a provisional marksheet and not the final marksheet. It is advised that the students must download the provisional marksheet/ IGNOU grade card for future reference. They must collect the final marksheet from their respective IGNOU study centers as and when available.
IGNOU results for PhD admission are out on the official website of the institute. Candidates who have at least 50% aggregate in the entrance test (45% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ OBC (Non Creamy layers)/ Differently abled persons) are shortlisted for the interview subject to the maximum limit of five times of the available seats. The entrance test carries a weightage of 70% and 30% weightage is allocated to the interview/ viva.
All the admission forms submitted via the Online Admission System are scrutinised and confirmed for admission subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria. These forms are processed region-wise on a first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, the time required for the processing of forms for different regional centres may vary depending on the number of applicants from the respective region. Pre-exam Requisites at IGNOU
Admit cards play a crucial role during the examinations at IGNOU, without which a candidate might not even be allowed to sit in the examination hall. It is generated in an online mode, and students are required to generate the same through their username and password, which the university allots during the time of admission. IGNOU offers a two-year MBA programme in General and Banking & Finance specialisations. The eligibility required for different MBA programmes is as follows:

It is compulsory to carry IGNOU ID-Card when appearing for the exam. However, in case a students forgets to bring the same, he or she can show an identity proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc. Most of the exam centres accept identity proof in such cases but to avoid any kind of conflict, students must carry their IGNOU ID-Card along with an identity proof and admit card.
For the IGNOU MBA course, the minimum aggregate is 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Candidates must hold the pass certificates (original/ copies) at the time of admission. These documents are required for verification purposes. The open university verifies that the applicants meet the eligibility requirements before offering seats.

Post-exam regulations at IGNOU
The university tries to release the results within three months of the exams being completed. They are generated in online mode, and students can have access to the result via the login portal using their personal usernames and passwords. Moreover, the exam committee tries to apply all the norms and regulations in order to ensure a smooth process, both, during and after the exam.

- Number of questions: The paper contains a total of 100 questions.
- Section: The question paper is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B.
