  • Based on the choice made by the candidate while filling the application form, he or she will then recieve the study material. Soft copy is available on the official website of the university.

Q:   What is the admission process for MBA at IGNOU?

IGNOU admission to MBA was subject to a valid score in IGNOU OPENMAT exam till 2021. However, for the admission 2021 onwards, IGNOU cancelled the OPENMAT exam and eligible candidates were able to directly apply for the MBA courses via the online registration link before the extended deadline. However, as per the data collated from various sources, IGNOU seems to have scrapped the OPENMAT exam. IGNOU MBA admission 2024 is subject to merit scores obtained by the students in the last qualifying degree.

IGNOU Re-Registration Login 2025

Students pursuing a course from the open university can apply for another course by re-registration. In addition, re-registration also has to be done for each semester exam. It can be done through the IGNOU student login page or from the re-registration website. The steps to be followed for IGNOU Re-Registration login are:

Step 1: Go to the IGNOU re-registration website (onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/).

Step 2: Read the instructions, check the box and click on “Proceed for Re-Registration”.

Step 3: On the sign-in page, enter the enrolment number, password, and captcha.

Students who have applied for B.Ed, MBA or PB BSc Nursing must appear for the required entrance and check if they've qualified it.
