Internships in Lovely Professional University

Lovely Professional University provides an opportunity for students to work with various departments of the university as interns.

Internships at LPU are extensively integrated with summer training, on-the-job training, study tours and skill improvement events. The purpose of all such activities is to provide exposure to a real working environment to students so that they can implement their learning in real life. The internship provided to students of LPU provides them with site experience in corporate giants like Cognizant, Microsoft, Infosys, ABB, ISRO, and Simplex to name a few. 

Live Projects at LPU

If we talk about industry projects, Lovely Professional University provides several opportunities for students from different programs to work on Live and Entrepreneurial projects in different organisations. These projects make the students corporate-ready. A metallic structure called 'Metal Boy' is composed of 12 cars and is 41 feet tall and manufactured by LPU students only. These types of achievements are the reflection of effective practical exposure to students through the different types of training.

Students design their go-karts at LPU that show the effective learning of automobile engineering. Students here actually race their own designed go-karts to show whose design is the best. The hotel at LPU is run and managed by the students only, the hotel is functional with a full-fledged kitchen, restaurant, and twenty-five rooms with all required amenities. University guests and parents usually stay at this hotel. Students also run real businesses at university malls. Hundreds of LPU students run their outlets, café, and restaurants at LPU. 

Internships 

Not only for placements but the university has tie-ups with companies for students' internships. MBA students get at least three to four interview chances with different companies. LPU ensures to arrange the companies that not only provide the internship but if it finds the candidate suitable they provide the pre-placement offer (PPO) as well. The university does not impose any kind of restriction on students to opt for campus internships. Students can complete internships joined off-campus as well. An internship is not mandatory for undergraduates in business management. University always encourages them to utilise their vacations and leisure time to complete certifications in their area of interest or to get hands-on experience with some organisation if possible.

2. Conducting special classes for students to prepare them for internship and placement interviews. 
3. Lovely Professional University provides an opportunity for students to work with various departments of the university as interns. So students, who do not want to move out of the LPU campus for an internship can opt for it. 
4. The university provides mentors to every student during their internship program. These mentors help the student in case he/she gets stuck in between internships.
