LPU Alumni is one of the effective sources of the social branding of the alma mater.

                    

Lovely Professional University claims “two-thirds of the earth is covered by water and the rest with LPU community. Take the name of the nation and you will get the student from LPU on the campus or must have completed the program from the campus. Lovely Professional University has its alumni association, which conducts the get-together of old LPU students at regular intervals. The purpose of the LPU alumni association is to create a self-help group, where old students can meet and help one another on personal and professional grounds. The alumni association has the objective to maintain a connection between the university and alumni through events, reunions, or by conducting guest lectures.  University helps the old students to take part in the alumni association proceedings. The university updates the alumni about the latest happenings on the campus, campus news and alumni reunions.

Lovely Professional University gives away alumni awards every year based on their achievements. This LPU alumni association is not only maintained by the university but the fund is also raised through alumni who are willing to contribute. These alumni also act as career counsellors and motivators for the present students at the university. LPU has its own alumni magazine having a message from the Pro-Chancellor. It has all the information related to the awards and new Chapters.

Volunteer Opportunities for Alumni

In the context of alumni, LPU provides various volunteer opportunities.

- The first one is to be a mentor or coach. Here, alumni have the privilege to be the coach or mentor for any individual or group of students, who usually feel lost while studying or are confused in their careers.

- The next one is to be the volunteer for posting the job opportunities. This one can help the present students by giving information about the vacancies in his/her company. Through this initiative number of students have got a chance to at least sit for an interview and get a job.

- Alumni can publish their articles to tell their success stories.

- University also gives them chance to be volunteers for hosting the reunion and alumni events. Alumni can also work as an industry and academic support. They can share live projects and become members of the board of studies of a particular school in the university for curriculum development.
