NIT Srinagar Cutoff 2024: Check Category-Wise JEE Main Cutoff

Aspirants should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board to apply for BTech. The qualifying exam should have been passed with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Only the students who meet this criteria can take admission with a valid JEE Main rank in a NIT Srinagar BTech programme. The official documents also have to be submitted for verification. 

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses for multiple All India categories.

For the General AI category, the cutoff for the BTech + MTech CSE course ranged from 42737 to 537200. As per this range the most competitive affiliated college was Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

NIT Srinagar BTech cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various All India quota categories. For the General AI category, BTech in Civil Engineering had a cutoff varying between 49291 in the first round and 82025 in the last round. For other categories, see the table below. 

NIT Srinagar cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of cutoff for all rounds and categories belonging  to the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 22015 to 93661 for all BTech course specialisations. In the last round, the most and least competitive branches proved to be BTech CSE and BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with the cutoff being 31866 and 93661, respectively. NIT Srinagar JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the OBC category was released for all rounds and BTech course specialisations. The cutoff in the first round ranged from 7170 to 16167. On the other hand, the cutoff fell between 38845 and 110590.

To get a seat at NIT Srinagar for BTech specialisations, candidate must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. NIT Srinagar JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for the first round. As per the cutoff for the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 22015 and 50145. Looking at the cutoff ranks, it can be said that getting admission to NIT Srinagar at 40000 rank is easy. Though the choice of specialisation would be limited at this rank. NIT Srinagar cutoff 2025 has been released for the third round. For candidates seeking admission to the college via JEE Main, it is neccessary to obtain a rank as per the category-wise cutoff list. The cutoff among the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 536 and 18007. Therefore, candidates belonging to the General AI category must obtain a score of 18007 or less to get admission to the college.

The cutoff for the General AI category candidates varied between 1431 and 1788. Among the OBC AI category, the ranks varied between 1879 and 2266. NIT Srinagar SC category cutoff for MSc were between 3775 and 4850. For the ST AI category, the rank was 6647 for MSc in Mathematics. For the EWS category candidates, the range of cutoff was between 1790 and 2492. 

NIT Srinagar accepts GATE score, followed by the CCMT Counselling process for M.Tech admission. NIT Srinagar GATE cutoff 2024 has been concluded. As per the NIT Srinagar 2024 cutoff, the last round closing rank for M.Tech in Mechanical System Design was 359 for the General All India category students.

NIT Srinagar GATE cutoff 2023 was ranged between 353 and 439, among which Mechanical System Design was the most competitive one considering its closing rank. For Mechanical System Design, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing rank stood at 353 for the General All India category candidates.

Candidates need to pass graduation or equivalent with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA for OPEN/EWS/OBC category (55% marks or 6 CGPA for ST/SC/PWD category) from recognised university or institution are eligible to apply for NIT Srinagar MBA programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

NIT Srinagar offers BTech across several specialisations. The duration for BTech at NIT Srinagar is 4 years. The eligibility for BTech courses at NIT Srinagar is Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 75% in any stream from any recognised state or national board, along with a valid score in JEE Main.

The national level NIT Srinagar entrance exam for PhD admissions has not been scheduled for the academic year 2026. Usually, the aforementioned entrance exam is scheduled near the end of July each year.

The results for the same are announced in the month of August. 

No, candidates who wish to apply for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course are not required to cleared a ME or M.Tech course to be eligible. Candidates who have appeared for a MSc course in the relevant stream can also apply for PhD admissions. However, such candidates must appear for the GATE or UGC NET before applying for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions.
