KCET 2017 Results: Know Toppers

KCET 2017 results got declared recently. Take a look at the exam toppers and their scores, on Shiksha.

KCET 2017 results got declared on May 30 on the official website of the KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) and Prathik S Nayak topped the engineering stream by scoring 98.889% (total score - 99.278%) in the exam. With AIR (All India Rank) 1, this Mangalore guy is also the B Pharma and Pharma D category topper and has also bagged the 13th rank on COMEDK UGET 2017.

 

According to Prathik, all the credit for his success goes to his father for he helped him stay away from social media the entire time he was preparing for his engineering entrance exams.

He is followed by Sumanth Hegde at the second position. A student of VVS Sardar Patel PU College, Bengaluru, Sumanth scored 98.333% (total score - 99.167%) in KCET 2017. In the two years that he prepared for the exam, he never let his focus shift to any other thing except studies.

Anirudh Sunder Raj from RV PU College secured the third rank in KCET 2017. Aiming to get into IIT Madras, Anirudh scored 97.778%(total score - 98.723%) in the exam. Emerging as one the KCET 2017 toppers was an unexpected dream for this topper. For him, getting into an IIT is everything he has ever wanted. He believes that having all the bright minds around is exceptional.

hi,

No—if you scored 44 when the cutoff is 45 in JEE Main, you would not qualify for JEE Advanced. Without qualifying JEE Advanced, admission to Indian Institute of Technology Madras is not possible, since IITs admit students only through that route.

With a 98.5 percentile in JEE Main, you have a strong chance of getting into good NITs, but admission to National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli depends on your category, home state quota, branch preference, and yearly cutoff trends. For highly competitive branches like CSE at NIT Trichy

today cse is demanded in comparison to electrical engineerung . cse is rising in scope so pursue cse from iit madras.

For National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, the minimum JEE Main percentile usually depends on branch and category. For General category students, top branches like CSE often require around 99+ percentile, while lower-demand branches may close near 97–98 percentile.
