Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Delhi - Other

Typically, the Faculty of Technology of the University of Delhi is rated as Tier 2 within India's context of engineering colleges. While it is indeed a well-reputed school in terms of academic excellence, faculties at large, and placement opportunities, this faculty still tends to be behind the strong elite Tier 1 institutes such as the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and National Institute of Technology (NITs). Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

The students who get selected for admission need to pay the first semester or admission fee. Jamia Milia Islamia BTech CSE (DS) tuition fee is INR 6.12 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

Candidates need to be Class 12 pass with minimum 70% aggregate in five subjects including Physics, Maths and Chemistry and 70% in Mathematics in Class 12 from a recognised board to become eligible for the BTech programme. Moreover, the aspirant should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. During the form filling and at the time of admission, candidate must hold the pass certificate for verification purposes.

NIT Delhi BTech cutoff 2025 has not been released yet. However, if candidates compare the cutoff for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024 will find out that the closing rank for some of the BTech specialisations has been increased and the competition has decreased. The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.

Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.
