Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Delhi - Other

The JEE Main eligibility criteria of minimum 75% marks in class 12 is required at the time of admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates must note that there in no minimum requirement of 75% marks in class for appearing in JEE Mains. Candidates can apply and appear in JEE Mains 2024 irrespective of their class 12 marks. Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

The students who get selected for admission need to pay the first semester or admission fee. Jamia Milia Islamia BTech CSE (DS) tuition fee is INR 6.12 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

The selection process for the BTech course at NIT Delhi depends on the scores achieved by applicants in JEE Mains scores followed by JoSAA counselling. Initially, the minimum eligibility criteria required by the institute is candidate' must qualify for their Class 12 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 75%. The institute does not specify the minimum score required to get admission to UG engineering courses, the required score can vary each year depending on competition, seat availability, and the category of the candidate. Candidates need to be Class 12 pass with minimum 70% aggregate in five subjects including Physics, Maths and Chemistry and 70% in Mathematics in Class 12 from a recognised board to become eligible for the BTech programme. Moreover, the aspirant should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. During the form filling and at the time of admission, candidate must hold the pass certificate for verification purposes.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.

Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.
