COMEDK people will not be satisfied because they pay a high fee.
Placements: Placements are good for computer science students, and it's related branches. I can say it's upto 80 to 90%, and for other branches, it is only 30 to 40%. If you are interested in coding, you can opt computer science and engineering.
Infrastructure: I can say that classrooms infrastructure is average. Labs are good with AC facility. Coming to hostel, I want to give minus (the worst) but they collect more fees that too it is also in the name of trust. Food is also not upto to the fee we pay. I only stayed there for one year and shifted to PG.
Faculty: Some faculty teach very well and some don't know anything. Curriculum they follow VTU Belgaum, Karnataka curriculum. But still, this is autonomous. Exams are conducted 3 times. You will write internals and after that you will write semester-end examination.

Campus is green and big but not the knowledge provided by lectures.
Placements: About 65% of students got placed. The highest package is 45 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Finacle and Edgeverve Dassault Systems are the top recruiting companies. 35% of students got internships in companies like Google and Amazon. Full stack developer, data analyst, software engineer, and cloud engineer are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in the college but Wi-Fi is available in the hostel
All labs are not good. Library is good and the availability of some books is limited. Only some classrooms are facilitated with projectors. Hostel is good and it has washing machines. Food is also good. Canteen food is too expensive compared to outside hotels, sports and games are encouraged.
Faculty: I think this is a considerable issue if one teacher takes more than 4 subjects. I don't know how they have done specification in all those subjects. Some teachers knowledge is also not satisfying. Syllabus framing is also bad. Exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is 35%.
Other: The course is good and offers us many opportunities but it would save one's money and time if they come after doing diploma, provided they are very serious about becoming engineer. Events and fests are frequently conducted in the college. There are separate clubs for every activity interested one can join and participate.

Local dominance: These Kannada people have a regional feeling. People from other states don't join.
Placements: Placements are good. If you study well, you will be placed. People who don't have any backlogs will definitely be placed for at least 4 LPA. People from Karnataka joining through KCET can choose this college. The highest package in 2024 is 54 LPA. The average is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst. Hostel fee is very expensive, and they don't provide the same facilities (not worth it). Food is okay. They will be increasing the hostel fee year by year. Common washrooms for girls, and no proper care in the hostel. Infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Faculty is okay. You will be writing exams once a month. A 7.5 CPA is enough for getting placements. Some teachers teach well, but some don't. Semester exams are very easy. You will be asked every question from your PDFs itself. No worries about exams.
Other: For people joining through COMEDK, you will pay more money. This college is not worth that much money.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering - The 5th best college in Bangalore.
Placements: I am a CSE student. There is so much demand for CSE engineers. The packages are also quite decent. The average is 10 LPA. Top companies like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, and IBM visit the college. The highest package last year was about 51 LPA. Internship opportunities are also good as Bangalore is a tech hub.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Many buildings are newly made or renovated. Each classroom has a projector installed in it for the visual learning of students. The library is well-equipped with the latest books in it. The hostel is also good but the fee is high. The mess food is average. There is a big sports ground in the college. Tennis and basketball courts are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Some of them are also Ph.D. holders. Sometimes, they start speaking in Kannada which makes it difficult for other state students. There are 3 internals and 1 semester-end examination in each semester. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: There are 2 fests conducted every year in the college namely Furore and Vibration. The college is decent for extracurricular activities. The coding culture of the college is very good. The campus is full of greenery.

I think it is good when compared to the other colleges.
Placements: The students who are in computer science are likely to get placements. The highest package is 12 LPA. Top company is Infosys. The minimum percentage to get placements is 7.5, and the students from the ISE which is called information science are also getting good placements.
Infrastructure: When we talk about facility means 50% are good and skilled, and other 50% are average. When we come to infrastructure means it's not good when compared to other colleges. When we talk about hostel means it is good in mantince and good food and very clean.
Faculty: I think some of them are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. When we talk about exams means it is good, they conduct them very strictly. The passing percentage is around 70 to 75%, and lastly when we talk about industrial activities, they will conduct them regularly.
Other: I chose this course because it has very high demand in the market. I think events are conducted. The college is good, and they encourage sports and some other activities that are good when we talk about college.

You have not mentioned about the category you belongs. However, the opening and closing ranks in year-2018 for general category for BE-CSE from DSCE were 2374 and 2665, in OBC these were 3143 and 4089, SC these were 19901 and 21670 respectively.
The course fee is about 1,37,500+30,000 per year.

DSCE main campus is the mother campus of all other Dayananda Sagar campuses. Maybe they don't have the best of everything because they were constructed earlier but they do have more reputation and better faculty among the others.
