Good exposure and opportunities, a supportive environment, and improving placements.

Placements: I belong to the CSE AI batch, and placements in our course are quite good. A high percentage of students get placed every year, with many securing software development roles. The highest packages exceed the average industry standards, while the lowest and average packages are also decent. Almost all top tech companies, including FAANG and other reputed recruiters, visit the campus. A large number of students also secure internships in these companies, which often convert into full-time offers. The top roles offered are mainly software development engineer (SDE), along with a few opportunities in research, product, and data-related fields.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of IGDTUW is average. Wi-Fi is available across the campus but not always reliable. Labs are equipped for basic requirements, though some equipment is outdated. Classrooms are spacious with projectors. The library is useful with good resources. Hostel facilities are manageable, with rooms of decent size and average cleanliness. The mess food is also average, sometimes good, sometimes just okay, with better options available in the canteen. Medical facilities are basic. Sports grounds and courts are present, though student participation and encouragement could be improved.

Faculty: Teachers at IGDTUW are generally helpful, qualified, and supportive. Most of them have good subject knowledge and guide students well, though the teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum is relevant and keeps updating with industry needs, but still requires extra effort through internships and projects to become fully industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. The overall pass percentage remains high, with most students clearing their exams without much trouble.

Other: I chose this course mainly because of the good placement opportunities. However, more practical industry-level training and stronger company connections would make it better. The campus has fests, cultural and technical events, and a supportive crowd. Being in Delhi, connectivity is good, and the surroundings are safe. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are available but need more encouragement. Overall, facilities and infrastructure are average, but exposure and placement opportunities make this course worth choosing.

Great placements and campus.

Placements: Placement of our course is excellent, with almost 100% students getting placed. The average package for CSE goes up to 22 LPA, with the highest one seen as much as 1 crore per annum. Top recruiting companies include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and many more. Internship opportunities are also great.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the campus is well-maintained and student-friendly. The academic facilities include spacious classrooms with modern teaching aids, fully equipped labs, and a well-stocked library with access to online journals. Hostel facilities are quite comfortable, providing all the basic needs. The mess food is hygienic and offers a variety of food.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, approachable, and knowledgeable, always ready to clear doubts and provide guidance. The curriculum is good but not exactly industry-based, so students need to put in extra effort to grab internships and placements. Semester exams are comparatively easy, with most students managing to get a CGPA of 8 or above.

Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology and problem-solving, and also because the curriculum is well-structured and industry-based. The exposure to coding, projects, and research opportunities makes it very appealing. The campus has a very lively and energetic life. Events and fests are well-organized with great vibes. They give students a chance to showcase their talents and bond with peers.

Need to start working on aspects other than placements also.

Placements: Approximately 80-90% of students in technical courses got placed annually with an average package of around 8-12 LPA. The highest package is around 40-50 LPA by companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. 40-50% of students secure internships at companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and startups.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor, with super hostel conditions and low-quality canteen/mess food. Wi-Fi condition is highly unstable causing constant disruptions. There are no CCTVs also. This absence of CCTVs raises concerns about the safety of students on campus.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but most are not. Semester exams are tough, with a passing percentage of 45% making academics challenging for students. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the tech field. About the fest and all, it is generally good.

Very good and big college and have very nice seniors.

Placements: Placements are very nice and the package is so high. Teachers also help in placements and so big companies come in the placements. The average is so good. The median is also so good means placements are so good and helps to build a good future.

Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure in past years so good canteen, a very big sports ground, classes are so good, and labs are awesome. We also have a very big library with AC and in a very good area. Benches are so comfortable, and have very good and big hostels. Washrooms are good.

Faculty: Exams and tests are taken regularly. Faculty members are so good and very polite. Teachers are very nice and help us from time to time. The other departments are also so good. They listen to our problems and give us the right suggestions. Curriculum is so updated.

Other: It is a very nice college. Take admission soon.

Good fest, average infrastructure, and good placements.

Placements: Top recruiting companies here are Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Adobe, and many more. The on-campus placements are really good. I think the average package for last year was somewhere between 25-28 LPA. The highest package from our college last year was 1.2 crores, but that was an off-campus placement.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi connectivity all over our college campus. There are many labs, like the design and renovation lab, DBMS lab, etc. A few classrooms have AC, but the rest don't. The CSE and ECE departments share a single building. The food in the mess is average.

Faculty: Some teachers are really knowledgeable. Faculty with 10+ years of experience are really knowledgeable and good at teaching. The rest of teachers, who don't have that much experience, are really bad at teaching and don't care about their students.

Other: The infrastructure can be better, and the course should change. Fests are good. I really enjoyed the last one. A lot of fests that used to happen each year, but they didn't happen this year.

If you are from OBC/SC/ST category, then you will definitely get an admission. But with general category, it will be tough as the last cut -off is always around 90k. Even in spot round there will be barely any chance of general category to get an admission with rank above 90k. But with any category

It is a good rank. And if we look at last year's cutoff then you might get a seat in Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Delhi . However there you cannot get IT, neither you can get Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering AIML, and ECE as the closing ranks
