Good placement, learning opportunities, and amazing campus.
Placements: Placements are good in tech branches. Around 80-85 percent of students got placed this year from IT branch. The highest package is more than 60 LPA and the average is around 17 LPA-18 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Apple, TCS, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Overall college infrastructure is very nice. DTU has every essential infrastructure. The library is good. Wi-Fi is not available. There is a connectivity issue. The first-year classrooms are average and the 2nd-year classrooms for tech branches are amazing. Similarly, 1st-year hostels are below average and from 2nd year on hostels are okay. Food in hostels is not that good but not bad either food in canteens is decent.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful. but some only focus on completing the syllabus. They all are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum for CSE, IT and SE is 80 percent theory-related, covering syllabus means covering essential topics for a job and thus it somewhat makes you industry-ready. The pass percentage is above 90 percent. Semester exams are mostly easy except for some subjects.
Other: The best thing about this course is the placement opportunity. All the companies that visit IITs visit DTU too and hence they offer great packages and roles. There are some irrelevant subjects which could be removed from this course. Many tech and non-tech events take place very often which offer great learning opportunities, while some are just promotions. Engifest is the main cultural fest which is very amazing and it gives unique experiences.

You will definitely learn a lot as well as enjoying best moments of your life.
Placements: Placements are more than in Computer Science in our branch at my college. Companies like Apple, Google, Meta, Goldman Sachs, etc., used to come to our college. Talking about the highest package in 2024 was about 84 LPA, with the average package of 12-18 LPA.
Infrastructure: Everything in college is first-class, as it is a tier-one college in Delhi with great infrastructure. The hostels are pretty decent with wih average reviews, and we are upgrading as well. Talking about the quality of our mess and canteen is above average. There is a Dominos shop inside our college.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, always ready to help students. Not all teachers are the best in teaching, but a good number of teachers are available to make you interested in a subject. The course curriculum is not that relevant in this AI era, it is changing as need demands.
Other: I chose the best tech branch after Computer Science. As the new era demands more tech engineers.

Fantastic college, good placement, and college life.
Placements: In my course 75 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered is 82 LPA. The lowest package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, and Goldman Sachs. 20 percent of students from my course got internships in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Adobe. Top roles offered in my course are in SDE, business analyst, and consultant.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top-notch. Classroom, Wi-Fi, library, and sports facilities are all top-notch. The condition of the hostels allotted in the first year is not very good. But the newly constructed hostels, which are allotted to students from the 2nd year onwards, are very good. Mess food is pretty average.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty good. They are very knowledgeable. Some teachers are there who teach very well, but some are not good at teaching, even after being knowledgeable. The course curriculum is quite relevant. The fourth-year students are industry-ready. They are very good at what they are doing. Semester exams are not very difficult in our college. If any student studies regularly even for 2 to 3 hours then also he/she can get good marks. Almost all the students pass the semester exam. Only a few students, 5 to 10 percent of students, fail the exam.
Other: The college is very amazing. Top-notch placement. Top sports facilities and events. Seniors are very helpful and supportive. The college has a lot of interesting societies.

DTU lifestyle for a 1st year.
Placements: 80% on-campus placements, 80LPA was the highest package offered in the recent placement of 2025. Paypal, Paytm, Adobe, and Infosys are major recruiting companies. Off-campus placements are also available, along with internships starting from the 3rd year. Any role in the teaching field, like WEB development, AI engineers, Cloud computing engineering, and other programming jobs, is available.
Infrastructure: Sufficient library resources with a medium range of Wi-Fi all over the campus. The classrooms are air-conditioned and of pretty great infrastructure. However, labs definitely need a bit of attention with better equipment since most equipment is very old and has stopped working.
Faculty: The faculty is professional and qualified. They are supportive. However, the teacher-to-student ratio, like any other college in India, is pretty huge, so the interaction is automatically reduced with the faculty. The course curriculum is relevant to a certain extent.
Other: Clean and green campus with decent security. It's a pretty cosy campus with a home-like feeling for hostellers. The campus crowd is good considering it is in Delhi NCR. Fests are insane. Networking opportunities are definitely there through societies.

DTU- an underrated university.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. The highest package last year is around 80 LPA, and the lowest package is around 6-8 LPA. The average package is 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies from my course are Google, Microsoft, and Adobe, and there are a lot of other companies. Around 20-40% of students get internships in Google, Microsoft, and Adobe. Top roles offered by these companies are SDE, data analyst, and many other roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my department are top-notch. It has good Wi-Fi, top-level labs, classrooms, and a very good central library. The quality of facilities in hostels is also top-notch. The food available in every hostel mess is very good. Medical facilities and sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum is very relevant. It really teaches the things that are asked by real companies, and students get industry-ready after 3 years easily. The difficulty of semester exams is medium. If you study enough for 1-2 weeks, you will get good marks.
Other: I chose this course because campus placements for my course are very fabulous. The best thing about my course is we have the best head of the department in the college and the best campus placements. Nothing needs improvement. They are already industry-level and top-notch. Events are held very frequently. DTU campus is crowded, but the campus is very big, so the crowd is handled. For connectivity in campus, 2 vehicles are always running in the college. Scholarships are also provided by the college, known as DTU Fee Concession.

DTU offers great placement in top companies like Google and Microsoft.
Placements: I am currently a 3rd-year student pursuing a B.Tech in the Information Technology branch, a batch of 2022-2026, at DTU. Approximately 80-90% of students in the COE & IT branches are placed, and if you are a female student with average coding skills, you will get placed for sure. The highest and lowest packages offered are 82.
Infrastructure: DTU offers well-equipped classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, newly built classrooms and labs, and a central library with a vast collection of resources, from textbooks to question paper banks. The girls' hostels are secure and well-maintained with different facilities.
Faculty: Teachers at DTU are helpful and know their subjects as well. They also help you with your personal projects. The courses provided are relevant and beneficial for your resume and CV. They truly make students industry-ready.
Other: I am a 3rd-year B.Tech (IT) student. I chose this course because of my interest in teaching and was fascinated by the strong placement record of DTU. Campus life and fests at DTU are a lifetime experience. Engifest is the biggest fest in Delhi and North India's largest fest.

Delhi Technological University: A mixed bag of opportunities and disappointments.
Placements: During our batch, around half of students have been placed in our seniors because of the recession since 2022, the hiring has been in as elected and controller manner by the companies. It is improving slowly and during my time, around 60-65% of students might get internships if things get in a more optimistic direction. Otherwise, only selected students get internships. The silver lining is the college Alumni which can help a person get exposure to opportunities through reaching out.
Infrastructure: Hostels are decent and come in a variety. Courses offers are a lot in variety like multiple B.Tech courses, design, and now B.Sc. The infrastructure for B.Tech branches is very good and sufficient whereas for core branches it is a little outdated. For design, it is also good but can't say the same for B.Sc unless in the tech field because it is being introduced recently only.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mixed bag. Some faculty members are supportive and teach well whereas some are corrupt and have a bone to pick with us. The course curriculum is that of a typical government college, and may not add much to the skillset we may be looking for to improve on. But faculty members are all based on luck because as stated above, some are corrupt, and make it difficult for students to live with this outdated syllabus in some courses.

DTU- All In one full experience.
Placements: Placements are top-notch and in some aspects comparable to top. The recession has led to considerable decline. Placements in most of the courses have fallen by 20-30%. The average is around 12 LPA. Most of the top recruiters are tech companies. A lot of non-tech roles are gaining attraction as well. The most desired roles are SDE, business analyst, consultant, and product analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are up to date, especially after the construction of new buildings called academic blocks which serve as the department of all tech branches in the college. Hostels are not a nice experience from what I've heard from my friends.
Faculty: Teachers are more or less good however it's the responsibility of the student to study and put in hard hours. The course content is outdated and has not been updated for quite some time. Mostly you'll see students putting in effort. Related to exams, we only need to give the midsem and endsem.

There is no procedure of direct admission in both the colleges. They are government colleges. You have to clear JEE Mains with good score, then only you will be eligible for admission.
