Good placement, learning opportunities, and amazing campus.
Placements: Placements are good in tech branches. Around 80-85 percent of students got placed this year from IT branch. The highest package is more than 60 LPA and the average is around 17 LPA-18 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Apple, TCS, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Overall college infrastructure is very nice. DTU has every essential infrastructure. The library is good. Wi-Fi is not available. There is a connectivity issue. The first-year classrooms are average and the 2nd-year classrooms for tech branches are amazing. Similarly, 1st-year hostels are below average and from 2nd year on hostels are okay. Food in hostels is not that good but not bad either food in canteens is decent.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful. but some only focus on completing the syllabus. They all are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum for CSE, IT and SE is 80 percent theory-related, covering syllabus means covering essential topics for a job and thus it somewhat makes you industry-ready. The pass percentage is above 90 percent. Semester exams are mostly easy except for some subjects.
Other: The best thing about this course is the placement opportunity. All the companies that visit IITs visit DTU too and hence they offer great packages and roles. There are some irrelevant subjects which could be removed from this course. Many tech and non-tech events take place very often which offer great learning opportunities, while some are just promotions. Engifest is the main cultural fest which is very amazing and it gives unique experiences.

You will definitely learn a lot as well as enjoying best moments of your life.
Placements: Placements are more than in Computer Science in our branch at my college. Companies like Apple, Google, Meta, Goldman Sachs, etc., used to come to our college. Talking about the highest package in 2024 was about 84 LPA, with the average package of 12-18 LPA.
Infrastructure: Everything in college is first-class, as it is a tier-one college in Delhi with great infrastructure. The hostels are pretty decent with wih average reviews, and we are upgrading as well. Talking about the quality of our mess and canteen is above average. There is a Dominos shop inside our college.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, always ready to help students. Not all teachers are the best in teaching, but a good number of teachers are available to make you interested in a subject. The course curriculum is not that relevant in this AI era, it is changing as need demands.
Other: I chose the best tech branch after Computer Science. As the new era demands more tech engineers.

Review of DTU - Delhi Technological University.
Placements: I haven't seen any placements yet, as I'm one of the juniors, so I would rate 4 out of 5 according to placements of seniors. I have seen seniors getting placements in companies like Adobe, Google, Flipkart, etc. 5 out of 200 students got internships with a salary of 1.5 lakhs per month. Internships are quite difficult to get on campus. To get internships on campus, students should score more than 9 CGPA, and to get a job with a package that ranges from 8-8.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is quite good. I know a lot of friends who live in hostels, and they told me the nightlife at the hostel is super good. The condition of the hostel is not so good, except for 2 hostels (APJ and girls' hostel). The newest buildings, and other than these 2 all, are average, so I would rate their condition 6 out of 10.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good, but some teachers are bad. They just come and open their 10-year-old notes from a random diary and write the same thing on the board, and want us to score 10 out of 10 in their subject. They teach us the bare minimum. Some teachers are PhD students and even M.Tech students, so they are pretty good. They know how marks are going to affect the overall life of a student. I like them.

Absolutely satisfied with placements.
Placements: The placement rate of DTU is pretty good. The highest package may vary depending on the course taken and your skills. DTU offers lots of opportunities to the students. The overall environment of the college is good. Top companies like Google and Microsoft visit here, and most students were placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, and the classrooms and labs have Wi-Fi access. There is also a central library, and the labs are well-equipped to meet the needs of students. The food quality is also good in the mess and canteen. DTU provides good opportunities for sports.
Faculty: Professors are very supportive, well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. There are teachers who have almost 25+ years of experience. The course curriculum is also very relevant. Professors even support, motivate, and guide you in every aspect.
Other: Firstly, getting admission into DTU is not that easy. You have to score in the top percentile on the JEE. Because of its good placement rate and internship opportunities, I chose DTU. Every year, the cultural event of DTU takes place, which is very exciting. The crowd is also good, and almost every student is talented. There are good societies in college that develop your overall personality.

Fantastic college, good placement, and college life.
Placements: In my course 75 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered is 82 LPA. The lowest package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, and Goldman Sachs. 20 percent of students from my course got internships in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Adobe. Top roles offered in my course are in SDE, business analyst, and consultant.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top-notch. Classroom, Wi-Fi, library, and sports facilities are all top-notch. The condition of the hostels allotted in the first year is not very good. But the newly constructed hostels, which are allotted to students from the 2nd year onwards, are very good. Mess food is pretty average.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty good. They are very knowledgeable. Some teachers are there who teach very well, but some are not good at teaching, even after being knowledgeable. The course curriculum is quite relevant. The fourth-year students are industry-ready. They are very good at what they are doing. Semester exams are not very difficult in our college. If any student studies regularly even for 2 to 3 hours then also he/she can get good marks. Almost all the students pass the semester exam. Only a few students, 5 to 10 percent of students, fail the exam.
Other: The college is very amazing. Top-notch placement. Top sports facilities and events. Seniors are very helpful and supportive. The college has a lot of interesting societies.

DTU lifestyle for a 1st year.
Placements: 80% on-campus placements, 80LPA was the highest package offered in the recent placement of 2025. Paypal, Paytm, Adobe, and Infosys are major recruiting companies. Off-campus placements are also available, along with internships starting from the 3rd year. Any role in the teaching field, like WEB development, AI engineers, Cloud computing engineering, and other programming jobs, is available.
Infrastructure: Sufficient library resources with a medium range of Wi-Fi all over the campus. The classrooms are air-conditioned and of pretty great infrastructure. However, labs definitely need a bit of attention with better equipment since most equipment is very old and has stopped working.
Faculty: The faculty is professional and qualified. They are supportive. However, the teacher-to-student ratio, like any other college in India, is pretty huge, so the interaction is automatically reduced with the faculty. The course curriculum is relevant to a certain extent.
Other: Clean and green campus with decent security. It's a pretty cosy campus with a home-like feeling for hostellers. The campus crowd is good considering it is in Delhi NCR. Fests are insane. Networking opportunities are definitely there through societies.

Best tech college in Delhi.
Placements: I am seeing a good placement percentage and package for the IT branch in 2025-26. 38 percent placement is done. Average package is around 27 LPA rupees which is very nice, with the highest domestic going to around 80 LPA - 85 LPA. Big companies like Google, Amazon, TCS, and Wipro all conduct hiring from our branch. Both tech roles and non-tech roles are offered to our seniors. Internship percentage is also very good.
Infrastructure: Labs are very well-maintained and new. Wi-Fi is there but signal never comes so one needs to have their connection in mobile for using internet. Classrooms in the department are also very nice with comfortable cushioned seats and proper AC and lighting. I am a day scholar so I don't have much information to share about hostels. Canteens are good. Food is available at reasonable prices and quality is also nice. Students are always there in the canteens.
Faculty: Teachers are nice. They teach very well and define their degrees. They are well qualified and have Ph.D. degrees. Some of them have published a research paper. Talking about the course curriculum, in first year it looks irrelevant as we have EE and ECE, maths and physics as core subjects, but further it is very well oriented with industry. We have options to choose various specialisation courses in other years.
Other: I had an interest in tech so I chose IT. Best things about my course are that faculty is very young and interactive, placement percentage is the highest among all tech branches, and curriculum gives wide knowledge about the tech. I would wish that from the first sem we should have taught maths as our core courses, and circuit subjects are irrelevant. Events, fest, and campus crowd are all nice, fun, and sort of activities. Sports and societies are there to join. Scholarship to low-income students is also given. Campus surroundings are not much.

DTU- an underrated university.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. The highest package last year is around 80 LPA, and the lowest package is around 6-8 LPA. The average package is 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies from my course are Google, Microsoft, and Adobe, and there are a lot of other companies. Around 20-40% of students get internships in Google, Microsoft, and Adobe. Top roles offered by these companies are SDE, data analyst, and many other roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my department are top-notch. It has good Wi-Fi, top-level labs, classrooms, and a very good central library. The quality of facilities in hostels is also top-notch. The food available in every hostel mess is very good. Medical facilities and sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum is very relevant. It really teaches the things that are asked by real companies, and students get industry-ready after 3 years easily. The difficulty of semester exams is medium. If you study enough for 1-2 weeks, you will get good marks.
Other: I chose this course because campus placements for my course are very fabulous. The best thing about my course is we have the best head of the department in the college and the best campus placements. Nothing needs improvement. They are already industry-level and top-notch. Events are held very frequently. DTU campus is crowded, but the campus is very big, so the crowd is handled. For connectivity in campus, 2 vehicles are always running in the college. Scholarships are also provided by the college, known as DTU Fee Concession.

There is no procedure of direct admission in both the colleges. They are government colleges. You have to clear JEE Mains with good score, then only you will be eligible for admission.
