My B.Tech journey at Galgotia University.
Placements: At Galgotias University, the students get offered an average salary between 3 to 4 Lacs. The placements at Galgotias is good having about 70% students getting placed every year in B.Tech courses. The highest package offered in 2024 is 1.5 crores given by a foreign company. If you have skills and a good CGPA, then nothing can stop you from getting through the campus placements. Top recruiting companies visiting every year are Infosys, Microsoft, Wipro, Zeplin, and many others. Many students got internships from tge college in many companies like teachkook, gbt and many others. In our top leading courses, B.Tech Computer Science is one of the most significant course which offers more jobs.
Infrastructure: Galgotias university has a world class infrastructure. They have digital classes with projectors. All the classes have Wi-Fi in their rooms along with being fully air conditioned. They have different libraries for different courses like they have a law library for law students and an engineering library for the engineering students. Campus is very clean and well furnished, it gives you a classy feel, and a good environment for studying. The hostel is sufficiently good. The hostel mess is pretty large having a seating capacity for about 3 to 4 hundred students at a time. Galgotias University has a good sports department which has all the necessary equipments for the students along with a very large cricket ground, volleyball ground, and basketball ground provided.
Faculty: Teachers have a good teaching experience. They teach the students well, but you have to work hard with your studies and do self studying. Teachers are well qualified from foreign universities and also from IITs and NITs. They teach in all the languages making the concepts understandable for the students. The course I chose is not so relevant. You can choose other courses as there is not much scope in Computer Science. Semester exams are also not very difficult. The teachers give practice sets and also refer to the previous year papers for making the current semester question papers. They make their own question papers which are checked by them. They give their own degree.
Other: I chose this course because it is very much in demand and has a high scope in the future. The best thing about this course is coding, you can learn computer programming languages by just playing with the keyboards. By learning coding, you can make anything possible nowadays. This subject is much more interesting than the other courses. Galgotias University organized many fest and events. It organizes North-India's biggest fest (Galgotias unifest) which is held every year. In every fest, they call celebrities and singers to perform on the stage which is enjoyed by all. Many games are also organized and cash prizes are distributed among the winners.

Review of Galgotias University.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro, Rozarpay, etc. Top roles offered are project manager and software developer. The average salary package offered was around 22 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 1.5 crores per annum. Almost 10-20% of students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. In our classrooms, chairs are comfortable. There is a huge library in this college. Several books are available in the library. The security facility is good. The food served in the mess is not good. Hostel gates are covered with a card system by which entry is possible.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if students are interested. Otherwise, they do not care about students. Teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is not relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. Students with basic knowledge and practice can easily pass the exams, but it is tough to get good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in becoming a freelancer as a software engineer, and I loved coding. Coding will improve our knowledge. Many fests and events are conducted in this college. Unifest is the biggest fest in Greater Noida. Our campus crowd is good. The transportation facility is not good. Our campus is spread over 53 acres of land.
