One campus offers endless opportunities for the students.
Placements: About 70% of students have been placed in my course. The highest package of 5 LPA, the average of 3 LPA, and the lowest of 2 LPA are offered in this course. The top recruiting companies for my courses are Mahendra and APC Drilling. All of our students have done internships in ONGC-Karaikal and ONGC in Chennai, and other petroleum-based companies in Chennai. Top roles that have been offered are upstream engineers and midstream engineers.
Infrastructure: There are more than 7 to 8 labs available for this course. The library contains more than 1000 books about this course. The Wi-Fi is very fast and clear for our everyday usage in both the college and the hostel. The hostel infrastructure is very good. The food available in the hostel mess is hygienic and good for the fees they charge. Most of the students have been developing their skills in sports since joining here. The medical facilities are available in both the sports room and the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers not only teach us the syllabus, but they also teach us what the course is meant for, what the various jobs available are for us, and how we can attend the interview and pass it. All the subjects are relevant to our department, and the students are more interested to study that. The semester exams are very easy because of theory-oriented papers, and a few subjects will be problematic throughout the whole course. The pass percentage in this course is about 70% of the students have cleared all papers.
