Delhi University prescribes DU JAT eligibility criteria. Candidates need to fulfil the DU JAT eligibility conditions before they proceed to fill out the application form.

DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2022: Delhi University has prescribed DU JAT 2022 eligibility criteria. Candidates will be able to check the DU JAT eligibility conditions in the UG Bulletin of Information released by the varsity. Delhi University will release the DU JAT application form. Before completing the DU JAT 2022 registration, candidates must check the eligibility criteria to appear for the DU JAT exam. Candidates meeting the DU JAT eligibility criteria set by Delhi University can proceed to fill the DU JAT application form. Eligibility criteria for the DU JAT exam shall include several parameters including qualifying exam, scores in qualifying exam, elective/ core subject requirements, and more. The eligibility criteria for admissions based on DU JAT 2022 is expected to remain the same as the previous sessions. Candidates must fill out the DUET 2022 application form only after fulfilling the eligibility conditions laid by Delhi University for the specified courses.

DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility conditions to appear for DU JAT 2022.

Nationality: Candidates must hold Indian nationality to apply for DU Joint Admission Test.

Qualifying Examination: As per the DU JAT eligibility conditions, candidates should pass class 12th examination or equivalent from a recognized board to become eligible for the DU JAT exam.

Score in Qualifying Exam: Candidates should score an aggregate of 60 per cent in the best of four to satisfy the qualifying score requirement to appear for DU JAT 2022 exam.

Age Limit: Delhi University has not prescribed any upper or lower age limit to appear for the DU JAT exam.

Candidates can calculate aggregate percentage in the above subjects to evaluate their performance in the qualifying examination.

Post-Fulfilling DU JAT Eligibility Criteria: Admission Process

The admission process based on the DU JAT exam 2022 shall include several steps as mentioned below.

Step 1: Online Registration for DU JAT

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions need to fill the DU JAT application form as per the schedule. The DU JAT application form is made available at the DU UG portal at the official website, i.e. du.ac.in.

Step 2: Payment of DU JAT Registration Fee

Candidates can fill a single DU JAT application form for all the entrance-based courses and merit-based courses. A single application fee can be paid to apply for all the merit-based courses. However, candidates need to pay a separate application fee for each entrance-based course.

NOTE: NTA will only issue the DU JAT admit card to the candidates paying the registration fee before the last date

Step 3: DU JAT Exam

NTA conducts a single exam for admission to B.A. (H) Business Economics, Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) and BBA (Financial Investment Analysis). As per the DU JAT exam pattern, admission to the above-mentioned courses shall have the following sections

Step 4: Declaration of Result/Merit List

The National Testing Agency shall release the DU JAT 2022 result/scorecard depicting the marks secured by the candidate in the entrance exam. However, the admission shall be based on the merit list prepared by Delhi University. Merit rank allotment shall be done by giving the following weightage to the entrance test scores and qualifying exams.

A: No. Sports quota or ECA quota is not applicable for admissions based on the DU JAT exam.
