GAT Exam Registration 2026: Application Last Date (Dec 10), Fees & How to Apply

Candidates desirous of taking admission to BBA or MBA programme of GITAM Deemed to be University must fill GAT application form. Candidates must make sure to follow programme eligibility criteria below:

GAT BBA Eligibility:

Candidates must have completed class 10+2 examination in any discipline with a minimum of 50% in total or 5.0 CGPA.

GAT MBA Eligibility:

Candidates must have completed Bachelors degree examination in any discipline with a minimum of 60% in total or 6.0 CGPA.

The last date to apply for first phase of GAT exam 2026 is December 10. Aspirants can submit the online GAT 2026 application form online till prescribed date at gitam.edu. Registered candidates will also be able to download the GAT 2026 admit card when released. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without registration and an admit card. GAT exam is conducted between December and September. The exam is conducted multiple times in a year. The exact GITAM GAT exam dates is announced for each session. GITAM GAT is a paper based test conducted at exam centres across India. Candidates must fill the GAT application form and enter the programme details for admissions.

Candidates can pay GAT application form fee online by following steps to fill the GAT application form. 

1. Log in to official webiste of GITAM- apply.gitam.edu
2. After filling in GAT 2026 application form, proceed for the payment process,
3. Choose mode of payment from following available options -
   • Net banking
   • Credit card
   • Debit card
   • UPI
   • QR code
4. Complete payment process and take print of the reciept for future reference.

GITAM GAT 2026 registrations will commence tentatively in second week of December 2025. GITAM will commence GAT 2026 registrations for UG and PG programmes. Candidates can check the phase wise GAT 2026 application form dates online at apply.gitam.edu.

The GAT application fee for the BBA and MBA programme is as follows:

• GAT application fee for BBA: INR 600
• GAT application fee for MBA: INR 1200

Candidates filling the GAT application form, must pay application fee, without which registration will not be successfull. GAT application fee can be paid through:

• Wallets
• Net Banking
• Debit/Credit Cards

No, candidates will not be able to change the GAT exam centre once the application form is submitted. GITAM Deemed to be University does not provide any provision for GAT application form correction window. Candidates filling the application form must carefully enter the details.

No, candidates will not be required to fill separate GAT application form to apply for different courses. With a single GAT application form candidates can apply for UG or PG courses they wish to apply for. Candidats can apply for Architecture, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Sciences courses offered at GITAM Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses. 

The GAT entrance exam registrations are ongoing for 2026 session. Candidates need to visit the official website for the GAT registrations to stay updated.

Candidates preparing for GAT exam must make sure to follow eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified.

For BBA

• Candidate must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination for BBA admissions.
• The examination should be recognised by the eductaion board.
• Student must have successfully passed this examination GAT or UGAT to be eligible to apply.

For MBA

• Student must have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in total. 
• Candidate must have completed the UG course in minimum three years duration.
• Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the programme
