Every year, SVKMs NMIMS releases NPAT merit lists around the month of June. Candidates who take the NPAT exam within the testing window are able to find their merit position inside the login dashboard. SVKMs NMIMS releases the NPAT results online on the official exam website. Candidates can enter the login credentials to check the NPAT results via the applicant login portal. The login credentials include application number and password generated at the time of registration.

What is the difference between NPAT merit list and NPAT results?

NPAT merit list and NPAT result is the same thing. SVKMs NMIMS terms NPAT result as NPAT merit list as the candidates can find the merit position while checking the results. Candidates have to login to check the individual merit position after the NPAT results are released. SVKMs NMIMS will mention the merit position, and qualifying status in the login dashboard. The candidate is shortlisted for NMIMS admissions based on his/her performance in the NPAT exam. With the release of the NPAT results, candidates who are shortlisted have to pay the admission fee to secure final admission.

Will NMIMS send any hard copy of NPAT scorecard to the candidates?

No, SVKMs NMIMS does not send the NPAT scorecards by post to any of the test takers. The scorecard of NPAT exam has to be downloaded online from the official website of NMIMS NPAT. Candidates can get the direct link to check the NPAT results on the official website or on shiksha's NPAT result page. Along with the results, NMIMS releases the NPAT admission offer. Candidates must take printout of the admission offer and preserve the same until the admission process is complete. SVKMs NMIMS does not share the NPAT scorecard with the candidate via email or post. Candidates can only visit the official login dashboard to check the results, download the scorecard and admission offer.

Will NPAT merit list and NPAT result release on the same day?

NPAT merit list and NPAT results are the same thing. SVKMs NMIMS does not release any merit list for NPAT. Candidates find their merit position mentioned inside the NPAT results login. There is no common list containing candidate's merit position. The official website terms the NPAT result as NPAT merit list as it displays the merit position of the candidate.

What are the login credentials to check NPAT results?

Candidates checking the NMIMS NPAT results have to visit the login portal to check the same. The login portal requires credential, including the application number and the date of birth to check the NPAT results. After entering the login credentials, candidates need to click on the 'Get Results' button to vierw the NPAT merit position along with the admission order. Candidates are allowed to accept or reject the admission order while checking the NPAT results.

Will there be a separate link to check NPAT result for different courses?

No. Candidates will find the NPAT results for all courses under a common login dashboard. There is no separate link for each course to check the NPAT results. After the candidates log in to check the results, they will find the course for which they are shortlisted. If the candidate is willing to pursue that course, he/she can proceed to pay the admission fee and upload the documents.

What should I do if NMIMS NPAT result link is not working?

In case NPAT result link does not work, candidates must wait for some time and try checking the result again. If the link does not work, they must reach out to SVKMs NMIMS for a resolution.

Q: How is NPAT score calculated?

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with no negative marking. Each correct response marked by the candidate fetches (+)1 mark. Since there is no negative marking, candidates do not get any negative marks for incorrect responses or unattempted questions. NPAT score is not released by SVKMs NMIMS, the institute specifies the NPAT merit position along with the results.

How is NPAT Score Calculated?

SVKMs NMIMS calculates NPAT score by awarding +1 mark for every correct answer and 0 marks for incorrect or unattempted questions. Candidates do not find any negative marking in NPAT exam. The total exam comprises 120 questions, totaling 120 marks. NMIMS considers a normalisation of scores to equate candidates' scores across multiple attempts/sessions. Candidates best score across all three attempts are considered for merit rank allotment.

What after NPAT Results 2026?

For admissions to the courses through NPAT 2026 exam, there is no GD-PI round for the final shortlisting of the candidates. Candidates will get admission to the course based on scores secured by them; the preferable college selected by the student at the time of registration and most importantly the institute's cut-off levels and seat intake capacity.
