Best in class for your bright future with placements, infrastructure and academics.
Placements: The placements cell is very active in this college and so many students get placed in various companies with good packages. As of my department of electronics and biomedical, it is a new branch in the college so only 3 batches are there and there have been no placements yet. Good companies like Philips, Cyrix, and Mindray are enquiring about the placements in our course. In future, I am sure that placements will be flawless because I see good placements for the other branches of ECE, EEE, CSC and AI happening.
Infrastructure: At the first look of the infrastructure, you will see the engineering design from the entrance itself. There are mainly 4 main blocks which are separated from each other. The main office building has EEE, ECE and CS AI branches, and in a separate building alone, mechanical branch is there. There is another separate building for civil and biomedical branches. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled which is available for the students also. The hostel being inside the campus compound is the best part. Only issue is that the college and the hostel food is pure vegetarian and no non veg food will be permitted. We can buy it from outside but will not be allowed inside the mess.
Faculty: The curriculum is tough and our college is under APJ Abdul kalam Technical University. In all the semesters, there will be lab practicals and six subjects, and in the seventh semester, there will be a mini project and a seminar. In the 8th semester, there will be a main project. The curriculum is semester wise having 4 year consisting of 8 semesters.
Other: My course is Biomedical Engineering which is a new course in Adi Shankara Engineering College. One of the biggest engineering college tech fest BHRAHMA is conducted by Adi Shankara Engineering College. There are many sports clubs and subject clubs available. All clubs are active and in good condition.
