Review of Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: Placements are mainly for people with software knowledge and background, who need not necessarily be from the CSE branch but have a decent knowledge of any coding language. TCS and Cognizant are some of the top recruiters. The highest salary is about 8 LPA. There are 2 placements in core mechanical engineering with 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel has a good infrastructure but below-average food quality. We can utilise the gym. We have access to the football ground, but it is not allowed currently due to grass being grown, which would be sick later on. Volleyball and basketball courts are available. The gym is used according to a given time schedule for all years. Wi-F is not good. The college infrastructure is excellent, but the campus is small. No Wi-Fi. There are good labs and spacious classrooms. The library has excellent infrastructure, but the books available are fewer.
Faculty: Teachers seem to be well qualified, and most of them are sincere and go out of their way to teach. The curriculum is still controlled by KTU to an extent. Rumors of our college getting autonomy would help greatly if it happened, as the college personally has plans for a better curriculum suited for global learning. Students need to engage in extracurricular activities, internships, and courses to be industry-ready.
Other: This is a versatile course for interdisciplinary skills later. Scholarships are good. There are small events and fests that are getting better by the year.

Our college doesn't offer a good college life, but we will have a decent college life.
Placements: Our college has good placements, but most of them are in IT. I did get an offer from V-Guard as some of our seniors were there, and if you are looking to get into some IT sectors, it will be a good choice considering the money you spent on your education.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure and sports facilities, but you won't be getting enough time to use those facilities. Overall, the facilities are good. But don't compare it with other top institutions out there, as our college is just 8 years old. Well, it's getting better with time.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are from IIT and NIT, but that is not a big thing. Faculty members are good. Our college has been in the top 5 institutes under KTU in terms of marks scored, so the probability of you failing is less, but it totally depends on your performance. The faculty members will really guide you.

One of the Best Engineering College in Kerala.
Placements: All the students in our batch did internships, but when it comes to placement only a few got placed from the college. Our batch was the second batch passing out from the college, that was one reason for the low performance and the dearth of opportunities for mechanical engineers in the industry is another reason. Most of the students opted for either higher studies or other skill development programs after the course. But now the scenario has changed and most of the students are getting placed from the college itself.
Infrastructure: The college has a state of the art infrastructure with spacious classrooms equipped with projectors, well-equipped laboratories, and workshops, high-speed internet connectivity, resource-rich and well-furnished library, playground, basketball court, volleyball court, etc. The hostel rooms are also very spacious and hostlers are provided with all basic amenities like gymnasium, entertainment room etc. The quality of the food served in the canteen and the mess is good.
Faculty: The faculty in the college is well qualified and very cooperative. The college is affiliated to Kerala Technological University and the curriculum is based on their syllabus. Apart from the university curriculum, the college tries to impart industry-relevant skills in the students by conducting workshops and seminars.
Other: A major attraction of the institute is the scholarship that is provided for meritorious students. They are given admission in the college at a very low fee, which is same as the government college fees. This scheme attracts quality students to the college.

College for both Joy and enlightenment!
Placements: The college has a good history of placements even if it has only one batch gone out. Many industries from every engineering sector visited the college and picked up many students more than 200. Many got placed outside the college. Navy and Military interviews were attended by many and got shortlisted. In all, the college will ensure you 55% placement chances before S8.
Infrastructure: The college has got a large area for different activities related to both engineering and extra curricular activities. The college has two buildings containing a lot of space for different workshops. Machines and different experiment apparatus for each engineering sector.
Faculty: The faculty of the college for each stream is available with Ph.D professors and highly educated Asst. Professors. They got a lot of experience from different engineering colleges in Kerala and even IITs and NITs. Every faculty is enriched with advanced educational concepts and have deep knowledge of the subject they have concentrated. They are very friendly towards students and ready to work with them full day. The behavior of teachers towards students are polite and enjoyable.
Other: The college is going to host its first intercollege tech event in September and its countdown will start on March 23 with DJ night and a numerous tech events like Intercollege Treasure hunt and all. The college will host a game and sports event in all even semesters. The college has beautiful hostels with good faculty members. Scholarships are available for each student according to their entrance ranks and 12th marks.

Excellent campus and completely satisfied.
Placements: The college offers a decent amount of placement every year and almost 10 to 20 percent of the students gets placed every year in reputed companies. This year, a number of students got placed to TCS and Wipro. The college has a placement cell that offers classes to every student every week to help us increase our IDP and thereby to get a placement by end of course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities of the college are excellent. The ambience of campus is quite pleasing. The college campus is occupied with free Jio Wi-Fi and smart classes with projectors. There are two libraries and every floor is occupied with a water purifier and cooler.
Faculty: The management of the college selected faculty members with keen observation and for the aim of providing students with world-class education. Mist of the faculty members are former IITians, graduates, or postgraduates from abroad. The basic science department is best at providing world-class English lectures and helps truly with improving English language.
Other: Scholarship is the best part of this college. It offers scholarships to every students based on marks acquired on exams. The scholarship tuition fee is almost equal to the government college fee.
