For the General AI category, the closing ranks in the last round fell between 6454 and 16753. Among all the branches in the last round, the most competitive for admission was BTech CSE, with a closing cutoff of 5736 in the first round and 6454 in the last round. The IIT Palakkad JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 for the General All India category students in the first round ranged from 5736 to 14852. In the last round, the ranks fell between 6454 and 16753. Based on these figures, the most competitive BTech course for admission was BTech CSE. This course had the round 1 cutoff closing at 5736 and the final round cutoff at 6454

IIT Palakkad Cutoff 2025 For OBC All India Category 

IIT Palakkad OBC cutoff 2025 is based on the JEE Advanced entrance examination result, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. According to the last round, the most demanding course specialisations came out as BTech CSE. CSE had the overall cutoff range falling between 2229 and 2379, respectively.

When comparing with the General and OBC categories last round cutoff for various branches, it is evident that the competition for the SC All India category students is more intense than the other two, with lower JoSAA counselling qualifying cutoffs.

Admission at IIT Palakkad closed at a rank of 1172 for the ST All India quota students. This was the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering branch. Other courses that were slightly more competitive were Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with the last round ranks of 1148 and 1099, respectively.

The most sought-after branch was BTech CSE branch, with the first and last round cutoffs at 764 and 792, respectively. Students who gained a higher rank than this can also consider the  Data Science and Engineering or Electrical Engineering branch, with the last round cutoff of 1175 and 1536, respectively.  These two specialisations had the first round closing ranks of 1116 and 1289, respectively. IIT Palakkad Cutoff 2025 For PWD All India Category 

Admission was only provided to the BTech CSE course for this category. This course had the same cutoff in both the first and last rounds of 160. When compared to the EWS AI quota, we can see that the competition here is higher, as a lower qualifying rank is needed for IIT Palakkad admission.
