NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise NIFT Cutoff Ranks

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final seat allotment result. The cutoff was released for admission to various Design courses at the UG and PG levels. During the NIFT Bangalore B.Des cutoff 2025, the overall NIFT last round closing ranks varied between 49 and 907 for the General AI category students. Of all the courses, the most competitive was the Master of Design (M.Des). The cutoff ranks vary across different courses, rounds and categories. NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

NIFT 2025 cutoff was released for B.Des and B.F.Tech courses at the UG, M.Des and Master of Fashion Management (MFM) programmes at the PG level. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for admission. For the students belonging to the General AI category, the NIFT Bangalore B.Des cutoff 2025 was in the range of 135 and 907. Considering the last round closing ranks, B.Des. in Fashion Communication was the most sought-after specialisation for admission. The easy-to-grab B.Des specialisation for admission was B.Des. in Textile Design, with the highest cutoff rank of 907 in the last round. The higher the cutoff rank, the lower the competition and vice versa. NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025 for OBC All India Category

NIFT Bangalore OBC category cutoff 2025 was released for various Design courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For B.Des admission, the maximum NIFT rank required was 3783. This means that any cutoff below this is considered to be a safe rank for admission to the B.Des programme across multiple specialisations. 

For M.Des admission, the maximum cutoff rank required was 366 for the students belonging to the OBC category. NIFT Bangalore also offers the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) course, for which the NIFT first and last round closing ranks were 324 and 363, respectively. NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025 for SC All India Category

NIFT Bangalore 2025 cutoff details are tabulated below for UG and PG courses. For B.Des admission, the NIFT's last round closing ranks were in the range of 1025 and 6776, wherein B.Des. in Fashion Design was the most competitive specialisation for admission. On the contrary, the least competitive B.Des specialisation was Knitwear Design for admission, with NIFT first and last round closing ranks of 5147 and 6776, respectively. 

At the undergraduate level, the institute also offers B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production, for which the maximum cutoff rank required for admission was 1832 in the SC AII India category. 

NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025 for ST All India Category

Tabulated below are the NIFT first and last round closing ranks for admission to several Design courses. The maximum NIFT cutoff rank required for admission was 8703 for the students belonging to the ST category under the AI quota. B.Des. in Accessory Design had the most competitive cutoff (3425) in the last round, followed by B.Des. in Fashion Communication (4320) and B.Des. in Textile Design (8497). 

At the postgraduate level, the institute offers the Master of Design (M.Des.) and the Master of Fashion Management (MFM), with NIFT's last round closing ranks of 574 and 531, respectively. 

NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025 for EWS All India Category

Compared with SC and ST categories, the NIFT 2025 cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission to the Design courses, among the EWS category students. The lowest cutoff rank was 249 for B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production, followed by 586 for M.Des and 615 for the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) programme. 

For B.Des admission, the NIFT cutoff ranks ranged between 1877 and 4809 for the EWS category students under the AII India quota. 

NIFT Bangalore Cutoff 2025 for PWD All India Category

For the PWD category students, the NIFT first and last round closing ranks are tabulated below. B.Des admission in 2025 was concluded at a cutoff rank of 5966, with Knitwear Design being the least competitive specialisation for admission. B.Des. in Fashion Communication with a competitive last round cutoff rank of 1890, became highly competitive for admission in the PWD category. Other B.Des specialisations available for admission were B.Des. in Accessory Design, with NIFT first and last round closing rank of 4754, and B.Des. in Textile Design with a cutoff rank of 5678, etc.
