Top NIFTs Cutoff: Colleges and Category-wise Cutoff for all NIFTs

NIFT's cutoff is announced annually for all 18 NIFT campuses for admission to several Design and Fashion Technology courses at the UG and PG levels. The NIFT cutoff is generally released at the time of counselling and the seat allotment process in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cutoff is mainly on the lower side for top NIFTs, including NIFT Delhi, NIFT Mumbai, NIFT Bangalore, NIFT Chennai, and NIFT Gandhinagar. Considering the NIFT 2025 cutoff for the Last Round, the cutoff ranks for NIFT Delhi saw a shift in a variety of courses as compared to the previous year. The cutoff rank decreased for most of the courses, and it increased for some courses. Top NIFTs Cutoff Trends - 2025, 2024, 2023

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) accepts NIFT Entrance exam scores for admission to B.Des, B.FTech, M.Des, MFM and M.FTech courses at the UG and PG levels. NIFT cutoff 2026 will be released soon. The cutoff will be released separately for all the courses. However, considering the NIFT cutoff 2025, NIFT Delhi has the lowest cutoff, followed by NIFT Mumbai. During the NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025, the Last Round closing rank for B.Des ranged between 92 and 974 for the General All India category candidates. Considering the NIFT Delhi B.Des cutoff 2025, Fashion Design was the highly sought-after specialisation among the students belonging to the General AI quota.

NIFT B.Des Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

At the undergraduate level, NIFTs offer a B.Des in Fashion Design as its flagship course along with other design courses. The cutoff is released based on candidates' performance in the NIFT entrance exam, followed by the counselling process. Considering the last round NIFT 2025 cutoff for the General AI category students, NIFT Delhi had the lowest cutoff rank for admission to B.Des in the Fashion Design course. NIFT M.Des Cutoff 2025 for General All India Category

Apart from the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme at the undergraduate level, NIFTs also offers a two-year full-time M.Des course at the postgraduate level. Admission to the M.Des course is also based on valid NIFT scores, followed by a counselling process. NIFT M.Des cutoff 2026 is yet to be released for all the NIFT campuses. However, the NIFT cutoff 2025 is available here in the table below for all the NIFT campuses for the M.Des programme. The available cutoff data is for the students belonging to the General AI quota. 

Note: Out of 18 NIFTs, only 7 colleges offer M.Des courses at the PG level. Hence, the cutoff data is not available for other NIFTs.
