NIT Jamshedpur placements have increased over the time. The average package offered to CSE students in 2025 was 25.11 LPA. Whereas the B.E./ BTech programme fee, i.e., INR 5 lakh. The facilities provided to students are central library, hostel facilities, sports ground, etc. The ROI seems decent.

NIT Jamshedpur only accepts applications online. Students have to apply at the entrance test site followed by counselling registration. There is no provision of applying offline for NIT Jamshedpur admissions.
