For the OBC category students under the AI quota, the NIT Meghalaya CSE cutoff 2025 was 6270 in the first round. In the last round, the cutoff rank was concluded at 38843. Joining NIT Meghalaya for ECE is worth it if you want the prestigious "NIT" tag, are comfortable in a remote/transitional campus, and plan to pivot into IT or software roles.
However if you are interested in core Electronics and Semiconductor jobs, the opportunities and infrastructure may be limited.
