I am very satisfied with my department.
Placements: In our college, everyone who wants placement gets placed, but the salary is very low. My highest salary is Rs.32,000, and I don't know the lowest. I am just in my second year of college, so I don't know anything about my internship. I don't know about the top cross-offer from my college.
Infrastructure: Everything in my college is well available. We have Wi-Fi facilities and proper laboratories, and everything is different. Classrooms are very smart and digital. Our library has books from all departments and by writers. Our canteen offers very good quality food and accepts pocket-friendly payments.
Faculty: Our professors are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They know everything and are eager to impart it to us. The teaching quality is also very good. Semester exams are very difficult because we no longer have any internal exams. We now have CCF curriculum exams.
Other: I love computer science, so I took computer science. I want to know more about computers. It would be better if our college lab were a little better. I want it to be a little better. Our college has very good events, and we celebrate them with fun. The campus surroundings are very good, and we get scholarships every year.

BAD FACILITIES AFTER DRAINING OUT OUR MONEY.
Placements: There are no placements that the college provides for students, but you have to be inclusive in all activities to achieve them. Most of the placements require 2 to 3 years of experience in a specific field; the rest are B.Tech or M.Sc. based. The highest package last year that the college provided was 7 LPA, but we do get packages like 12-14 LPA. As I said, you need experience for at least 2 years to apply for them. With the new 4-year quota for B.Sc., everyone has to do an internship to apply for examinations, so there's a guaranteed internship that the college provides. To get placements, you just need to work on your skills to get a high-paying job; the college doesn't really provide guaranteed placements at all. As for the top roles, I don't know much, but once I saw some companies were hiring interns for cybersecurity, data analyst, and web development roles.
Infrastructure: The new 4-year quota is trash, to be honest. I'm from the batch where I had a 3-year quota, so the syllabus is mostly B.Tech based. As for the infrastructure, the faculty just drains out our money and doesn't really use it for student facilities. In the 2nd semester, our teachers complained about being given cheap capacitors for our practicals to our department HOD, but she said there's nothing she can do. There is only 1 PC with an Intel i5 processor, which is not for student use. They're providing PCs with Windows 7 and Notepad as the IDE. I don't know much about the hostel, as I didn't apply for it, and the hostel is about 30 minutes by bus from the college campus. However, some of my friends lived there, and they said the food was very good for a hostel; they arrange a feast once a month, and most importantly, it's ragging-free.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are quite knowledgeable and provide motivation, but some of them are very rude. If I write something wrong, they'll just abuse me, saying that I can't do anything, etc. However, some of them are really good and motivating; I can just call them for a specific problem, and they'll give me a special lesson for that topic until I understand it. As I mentioned, the course for us is B.Tech based, but the new quota doesn't have a specific order in the syllabus; they'll teach you Android programming before Java, whereas you need to learn Java first to understand Android programming. As for the exams, they're not usually tough; most of the questions are from previous years, but the checking is hard. They won't give you any marks unless you fill out the whole sheet for a 2-mark question. The passing percentage is 30%, and even students who scored above 80% in boards struggle to achieve those marks.
Other: I like computers and their mechanics, which is why I chose this. To be honest, I wanted to do the B.Tech course, but the course fees are too high, so I applied for this. The best thing about this course is that you can learn how a computer works, how technology is connected to our daily lives, and how we can improve it. Programming can lead to a high-paying job in the near future. The things that I would like to see removed are the assembly language syllabus, as it's of no use to us; instead, teach us some new languages that may help us in the near future, like Rust, ReactJS, or MongoDB. The college is filled with events for freshers every second day of the week, but there hasn't been a fest provided until now; instead, the authority arranges Teachers' Day events, etc. We haven't even had any excursions till now, and I'm in my 3rd year right now. As for the campus, it's quite huge but scattered, and if you want to enjoy your college life, you just need to be extroverted. The college union may influence you to join them for popularity, but it's up to you if you want to join or not.

There are not many options for good placements, but for higher studies, you can pursue this college.
Placements: 20-25% of students get placed in companies like TCS and Wipro, while most of the students pursue higher studies from IITs, NITs, or other good colleges. Most students get placed as junior developers. The highest CTC offered is 7.2 LPA from Bitcanny. There are not many research options available.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but from what I heard, it's just like average government hostels. About the depth of college, it's not that bad. Facilities like Wi-Fi, CCTV, AC, and other smart things are available for making a smart classroom. Connectivity is good, as it is situated in the heart of South Kolkata, near Hazra More.
Faculty: The course is hard, but the faculty members are good. All the faculty members are well-educated and have good behavior towards the students. There's an allegation of hard politics on the campus, but if you want to study and don't wanna involved in politics, you can do that as well.

Its a really average coll.
Placements: When it comes to higher education, the image of college life often conjures vision of prestigious campuses, cutting-edge research, and unparalleled opportunities. Yet, not every institution can claims such accolades. Many students, myself included, find themselves attending what can best be described as an average college. While this label might carry a negative connotation, it's important to explore what it means to attend an average college, recognizing both the challenges and the opportunities that come with it.
Infrastructure: One of the primary measure of a colleges quality is its academic offerings. At my college, the curriculum is standard, covering a broad range of subjects without unnecessarily driving into the depth found at more renowned institutions. Professors are knowledgeable and dedicated but often stretches think, juggling multiple classes and administrative duties. The lack of groundbreaking research projects can be a disadvantage, particularly for students aspiring to careers in cutting-edge fields.
Faculty: However, this does not mean that academic growth is impossible. With smaller class sizes, students have more opportunities for personalized attention and mentorship. Dedicated students can still find ways to excel by taking advantage of available resources and seeking out internships or collaborative projects beyond the campus.
Other: The social scene at my college is vibrant but remarkable. There are student clubs, sports teams, and events, but they lack the grandeur and variety found at larger universities. Facilities such as gyms, libraries, and dormitories are functional but not state-of-the-art. This average campus life means that students must often look outside their immediate environment for additional enrichment and networking opportunities.

Good college to take admission. Placement ratio is also good.
Placements: 100% of students get placed from our institution. The package offered for our course was respectively 8 LPA, 5 LPA, and 7 LPA approximately. Top recruiting companies for our course were TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. Almost every student gets an internship in some local companies. Top roles offered for our course were web development.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and a good environment at the college. Labs, classrooms, and library were well constructed. Wi-Fi speed is also good. Hostel rooms were neat and clean. B.Ed and furniture were comfortable to use. Taste and quality of hostel and canteen food were top-notch. Sports ground was also available, and basic medical facilities were also available.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and professional. Teaching quality was good and easy to understand. Course curriculum was relevant and definitely prepares us for the industry. Semester exams were easy to pass in our course, and the passing percentage of our college students was 90-95%.
